Lord Tom owns Metroid forever. And runs like this prove the point. I give a late Yes vote. I like the double-restart warp to the elevator of Norfair/Brinstar, though I thought it would be a triple-warp from Ridley/Norfair, Norfair/Brinstar, and then Brinstar starting point, as if Samus was heading straight to Kraid's hideout. I say yes to entertainment, yes to substantial use of tools, yes to improvements, yes to auto-programming, yes to insane glitches beyond the game, and yes to this movie. I can say yes to so many other things behind the movie from start to finish! Shall I go on?

My ISO opens with the emulator, but when I run the movie, it doesn't play. Version of PCSX is 0.0.9 =/

Okay, so if I came across this sign before I begin to listen out for trains, does it mean "re-recording" too?

I don't know about using death as shortcuts anytime during the attempt, but if it comes in handy...

The Gremlin fight takes a lot of work. Some say you have to be on a level 18 minimum for a decent battle. Does this mean level-grinding? Who knows...

That is your own personal website, and you don't have to shut it down if you don't want to. I mean, it's interesting to see things done outside this website. Perhaps that is where the TAS videos started to come in before you got the tasvideos.org domain...?

Who invented tasvideos.org anyway? Not everyone will know.

I watched the movie, I think Vandal did it better. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a tool-assisted Shang Tsung entertaining us in MK 3 as much as it was in this game (and I really love to see that!) I am the 13th user to vote no.

Haha, I came up with this idea - about some of the recently published TAS movies that lived long enough to become a classic. I'm talking published speedrun videos where the logos and the subtitles would point to bisqwit.iki.fi - now that is what I call "classics!" My question is that would it make any difference if we decided to re-encode classic speedruns to where the logos and subtitles are current, pointing to tasvideos.org? Would this be a heads-up to everybody else that would want to finally try to re-work a classic movie and save frames off of them?! Especially after a number of years...! Otherwise, I'll carry on. :)

Okay, for the purpose of manipulating high rates of HP damage and critical hits, does this LUA script help? Or is this script different?!

Put this movie into a 2-part RAR archive and try uploading that way.

Last time I played it in that level of difficulty, the weapon was named "MP 5 SD" when I looked. It was the easiest level, but don't expect to be given the Stealth camouflage when you beat it. Anyhow, I was just curious.

There is a Windows (PC) version of the whole game. Though it appears within the "warez" category, it goes all the way through and there is no need to switch media because the work of "both CD's" are on the same HDD.

Question: who is responsible for re-programming this emulator to where it will support multiple CD switching?

theenglishman: what is the version of your PCSX emulator that are using for that CD1 movie, so I'll know what to run to avoid experiencing a de-synch...?!

Now guys, for the first boss (Romus), you're all aware by now that getting the Whistle from the town west of the Castle and using that will kill Romus in one hit, right...?!!! The question is how many frames are sacrificed for this move?!

Woah, somebody already putting this game to the test?! I was fixing to start studying this game, but I can tell how impressive this has been!

Another thing I am willing to study. This has to do with replenishing HP/MP in various resting places of the game. Some resting places take more frames for displaying messages than others, so another goal I am willing to take into consideration, for a better chance at improvement, is replenishing at a place that takes up the lowest number of frames.

Yes, Grue-bot, I know - you don't have to tell me. I chose to take down this submission under my own will instead of a judge rejecting it for me. I can already tell that even after more than 13 minutes of improvement, it can still use some improvement? You want improvement, boys, you got it. Within the next month or two, I'm willing to heed omnipotententity's advice and try to challenge this game by taking more damage-boosts. And thanks for the advice! :) I learned that the direction that the enemy was moving is the exact same direction Willow will move (in a faster way) upon taking damage. This will require more strategy and possibly another need to achieve level 13 as quick as possible. Until then, again, I thank you guys for watching this - I'm sorry that this wasn't enough for publication.

Well, minus some of the games that judges would potentially find too boring and not entertaining enough, there should be a reduced list of games.

All I can think of was ancient statue faces that use the magic of Fireflor - where 2 of them appear upon random encounters and can be worth at least 90 ex. a piece. They travel slow, but for positioning they are hard to reach. What I did find out and am looking to test were the ghosts I encountered before taking the 2nd long stairway to Nockmaar. By that point, I should already have the Thunder spell on me. My new unofficial level-up strategy is to manipulate that area into random encounter. I might be going back-and-forth constantly using the Thunder spell to kill these ghosts off more quickly. And of course, I have to make sure I have at least 20 MP everytime I use this spell. This may not look entertaining, but I am sure I can cut down the time it takes to level up significantly. Last time, it only took 8 minutes and 20 seconds to level up. So if my new strategy works, I'm sure I can pull more frames. But again, it all comes down to strategy. And then another resort: review the SDA archive from EmptyEye and use Thunder (instead of Bombard) to get rid of the embedded monsters on the first stairway to Nockmaar, possibly along the way to the second stairway instead of hanging around the first. But that did take quite a bit of time from what I heard.

I picked up 5 swords out of 8 (according to this page) - where 1 was given by Vohnkar, now that I can skip that in my next future attempt; 2 was taken from their designated chests - the battle sword that I used until I got to Eborsisk, and Devil Eye which I desperately needed for nonliving creatures and to level up; and 2 that was given as part of storyline, Kaiser from Airk (maybe I can avoid that, but if I do, I have to hit Eborsisk several more times for victory which isn't fun) and Wing from Adik. In my next future attempt, I guess you all can say there are 2 swords I am looking to avoid. It will indeed be the Long sword and the Kaiser sword if I'm lucky. That leaves me with the Battle, the Devil Eye, and the Wing swords. Hmmm... Do you guys think 3 is really enough?

Sad update, but I chose to hold off doing further TAS projects and probably won't work on or optimize for a while. Life continues to put me under pressure and keep me busy, even if I do get on my computer more frequently. I'm not asking for a lot of Yes votes because I already know how twisted and boring some games get. It's that I find this game more decently entertaining than Scheherazade, especially with weeks of work that I placed into this game. For now, I'm grateful. :) Thanks so far!
