Im going to attempt this, but the running through the wall trick puzzles me. Everyone seems to say its random, and nobody knows the exact cause of this. I'd like to think one of the following is possible. 1)Is it possible to take the button commands from previous movies and paste it onto my video and ensure a success? 2)If not, how many rerecords am I looking at wasting? Also, FCEU seems to have a problem booting the game up, whats the problem? I don't want to use the SNES version in SMB all stars...

Out of curiosity, did anyone think my movie was worth watching?

Yes but my analogy was that when you beat the elite 4, credits roll. Thats beating the game on the first quest. Then beating Kanto and getting to Red is the second quest. Maybe, atleast its new frontier unlike super ghouls and ghosts.

After abandoning my Rockman and Forte run, I'll work on this. I understand that finalfighter(or was that Morimoto) had plans to make this movie but never did. Maybe he can help out? Anyway, can anyone pin point me the code to use for the level select? :(

I dont think anyone wants to see a speed run of a demo. :\ I have played it but the main point really is quite boring. Flee every monster you dont have to fight and kill the only ones so you dont get aggro. First stage by far is easy, hell you dont even have to follow the hint, you can just blow right through the stage. But overall just wait for the game to come out, people are far more willing to see that over a demo.

This is Super Ghouls and Ghosts all over again. People will not want to watch someone manipulate luck just to beat Red for a very long movie, and thats the reality of it too. :(

perhaps it would be cool, but I have no idea if it uses RNG to determine the randomness. If the above statement is true, this run would be definetly possible.

I would object to doing this as a TAS atleast for the EXE5 part, heres why. -AWFUL alot of back tracking that wouldnt entertain it's audience -The random battles can not be manipulated to none. You will have to have random battles at one point or another (personally tested on EXE). Either that, the patience for it simply wont be worth it for the outcome of the movie with these long games. -Chip Trader can get you anywhere pretty fast with a huge amount of patience. >.<

I may recommend also BisqBot's battle simulator: http://bisqbot.stc.cx/pokedex.php Example query:
hit L20dv1,2,3,4 pikachu with headbutt from L10dv15,1,12,6 meowth
Example result:
MEOWTH[L10,atk23].HEADBUTT[99.6%,STAB,TM2] -> PIKACHU[L20,def30,hp60]: Damage: 10-12 (crit: 16-19). 29.7% chance for flinching caused.
There's also a Pokédex there. For example, try:
pkmn meowth full
Woah... Nice program. =)

WOW! I definetly think a Blastoise only run is possible after seeing the Dragon Warrior movie... But its just that Mewtwo is so...broken I just dont quite get it yet.

wait, now I'm lost. Are we going for a legit run with mass luck randomization or are we using a combo of RNG and Missingno to achieve the best time? Edit:Ohh, ok I get it. I still may be a little skeptical about finishing the game gungho with Blastoise only, but then again, so was I with Dragon Warrior. :/

Just get a Level 128 Mewtwo from the Seafoam Islands.
My thoughts exactly. I believe to get that result my playername would have to be "M"
