Hey, I have found this Carry glitch while playing Rockman World which lets you go out of bounds. Unfortunately I haven't found a proper use for it but maybe someone else will. Link to video[/video]

There are a lot of anti-piracy measures triggered when an emulator like ZSNES is being used. Here are some of them: https://tcrf.net/Mega_Man_X#Copy_Protection

I recently picked this game as speedrun up and accidentally stumbled upon this weird warp which I couldn't make use of since the ending of the stage didn't want to trigger. Tested on emulator and console and I got for both the same result. Description how to trigger this glitch can be found in the description section of the youtube vid. Link to video

The Contra wrong warp needs to be documented and possibly used. I believe there is more to this. http://www.twitch.tv/dk28/c/5686445
Unlike the Rockman 2 thing, is this legit?
DK28 is playing on console and original cart (is current WR holder for Contra)

What we found out so far: - if you use a password to stage 4, the warp will bring you to the beginning of the stage, however when you password to stage 3,beat the stage and go on to stage 4 the warp will bring you to the mid-boss - if you die and/or game over, the warp will work on your next attempt but you will get warped to the beginning of the stage - if you pause before you are going to attempt the warp you will go through the enemy, grab the armor and then die, so the warp does not work at all when you pause the game - the last digits of the score have rather no influence on the warp since I got the warp with different digits

Yes it would be neat if this trick was real and not just an one hit wonder because it would save a good amount of time. Good luck with that.

It has been some time since THIS was found but maybe someone will be able to recreate it. The game was played on either FCEUX or NEStopia emulator (runner cannot remember anymore). It happened on US rom and 1st loop.
