To add on a bit here, the new game plus glitch is available in all versions of the fan translation except standard version 1.3. If you're using 1.3 and want new game plus available, I believe there's an add on mod that makes it available again, which I could probably find if you're looking for it. Otherwise, it's immediately available on any other game version.
