I was never clear on what this panda head does? It's where that ammo is, and when it appears, it looks like it's mouth laughs or says something?

What version are you using? Uninstall it, then go here: C:\Program Files\ffdshow and delete that folder as it might be leaving something behind. Download and install the "2005-04-06 - Unofficial" version from here: http://www.free-codecs.com/FFDShow_download.htm During the install, uncheck the XVID box. Should work now...

Here was my situation: I downloaded the Kung Fu movie: http://tasvideos.org/movies.cgi?id=340 Using the brand new BitTorrent version: http://www.bittorrent.com/trackerless.html I attempted to play it using Windows Media Player Version 10 and I only got sound, no video. So I downloaded the FFDShow version listed here: http://tasvideos.org/CodecProblems.html I installed it using the default options. That's where the problem might be that results in the playback having a green screen. Uncheck the XVID box during install! That's what it took to fix my green screen problem. What other boxes can be or should be unchecked? How about the audio options? Now that I have "fixed it", even reinstalling the codec using the XVID option, I can't reproduce the green screen effect to get a screenshot of it.. :( At least it's "fixed".
