What a fast game - really liked the run though I didn't know the game. Only negative thing is the really long boss fights... Getting a yes! I especially liked the ending when they rushed off and rode on a pure white horse! ;)

I was just wondering if the "run-behind-the-scene" effect lasts long enough to reach the end of the level to get the first whistle...I will try it Edit: Tried it and couldn't believe that I forgot that the level is that short... (that's been many "thats")

Really liked the second level. I didn't know you can gain so much speed without using the B-button.

Anyone know where I can get the ROM? The place I usually go isn't up to GB color yet...
You are here for more than a year and don't know the rules? Sad... Wait for the avi-file!

Hmm, I wish you went to the Color dungeon.
I guess that would be part of the 100% run?!

Of course a clear yes! :) There are some minor possible improvements, but I waited so long for this to be finished and this is high quality material!

Looks good :) How is the appearance of the bananas in the "Grab 15 bananas" determined? When you enter the bonus level or while collecting them?

Well, 15 frames in just one level is a lot! @Guybrush Someone is willing to do a 102%-run of this game and he's improving consistently. I really can't understand why you keep nagging on him...

Wow, ich didn't know that it's possible to move while maneuvering those weird boxes. Very good WIP, can't wait until this thing is finished! Edit: Btw: Nice bosskey-shooting ;)

You have to check the "start from snapshot"-option to play his movie because the movie begins right before he enters the bonus-level. And I think it's a normal barrel, not a DK-barrel...

So you haven't watched Arne's movie. Anyway, this is how he has done the bonus:

Wah, your Tiger Fire spamming was even worse than the computer does it...;) I just watched the first 20 minutes, but those were quite entertaining.

Nice to see the hook shot glitch in work. But I wonder why you let the small key bounce once until you collect it in dungeon 5? Everything else was just awesome except the way to the Face Key, but that's not your fault and you can't avoid it, I guess.

I'm really curious about how this will work. :) Very nice again, Chef!

Normally the maximum percentage available in DKC3 is 103%. However, there is an "expert code" that takes away all DK barrels and save/midway/continue barrels - whatever you want to call them. The game becomes much more difficult! To perform this, select a new file and press LRRLRRLRLR. A prompt will come up - type in "TUFST". Now you can enter your name as usual and begin the game. A new, snazzy ending status screen and 105% will be you reward for getting everything. If you lose a partner and begin a new stage you will automatically get that character back. There are only 4 DK barrels in the entire game that will benefit the player (the others are in boss levels but disappear because you have 2 characters anyway!):

This will slow the TAS because i can't use the Take Damage to save time, but is the real full-percentage of the game.
As far as I know, you will get your partner back at the start of each level. At least that's what the SDA-Text says. So you should definitely (<- why do I always have to look up how to write this damn word?) do a 105%-run!

Ah, thanks a lot. I thought the progress would be saved somewhere in the rom, but honestly I don't have any knowledge about this kind of stuff... Thanks again. (The game works fine now, but it keeps crashing without a reason and to no particular time (that's also a problem in Mupen))

I liked it. Didn't know that Save&Quit is so much faster than the Mambo. For all who want to watch this: The filename has a comma at the end so you must rename the file to watch it. (just for information...)

Hello, I got a problem: Mupen has a bug in emulating Banjo-Tooie (as you can see here). I am supposed to activate a switch with a fire-egg to open a gate, but the gate won't open. So I saved the game (not a savestate, but Save & Quit) and loaded the rom with Project64. My saved game is not existent (at least for PJ64, but it is for Mupen), so my question is why? And: Is there a possibility to get behind this gate without playing the whole stuff again in PJ64?
