Similar to GDQ, TASGiving will be hosted on twitch. We do have a handful of people who will be in the same room together handling production, but we are currently an online-only event. We do have announcers who will read donations and speak to the viewers about upcoming runs, our guests would be the runners and staff, we will be having interviews this event, and we are working with NAMI and will be promoting their efforts throughout the event. If you'd like to see videos of last year's event, there is a playlist on dwangoAC's youtube channel here There aren't too many that are not specifically related to the games being run, however the preshow here does introduce people and explain the event. Last year we did have a little bit of interaction between hosts, runners, commentators, and chat, but I don't believe anything formal is planned specifically on the TASGiving staff side at this time. If a runner or commentator would like to interact with chat, that's just fine, and we can work to facilitate.

I'm out of the loop. Can I request for some more information? Since the 12 page long form can't be skipped until required fields filled in. I guess it's possible to submit commentary speedruns online (live stream) and or offline (recorded)... ? I opened the following links but couldn't figure it out. https://tasgiving.org/ --> no video https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc3ed4NX0Dk4_vAFI4WOl2q4eC1TlatWOYbGDQKBPRYdpOTwA/viewform?usp=send_form --> volunteer form with required fields https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdLLWBVmLpBLT1fxHljfqGSnl7QnIGYZae07YDfzW3RWAFJFw/viewform?fbzx=-6871505502756041612 --> submit form with required fields edit: okay I see on dwangoAC's youtube channel the previous TASGiving's submissions where some people with webcamera or not commentate on their TAS, there doesn't seems to be any interactivity between the viewers or any host... right? edit2: err so these are real time speedrunning stuff with live comments? judging by this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H0Lft38iK6Q
Hi MESHUGGAH! Sure, I'll be happy to answer any questions you have! TASGiving is similar to GDQ in that it's a marathon, however we have much more focus on TAS content and we have much more flexibility with what is shown. If you would like to submit a pre-recorded TAS with commentary, or submit a TAS for live playback with live commentary, you can do so here. As well, if you'd like to submit an RTA run or a showcase exhibition of a game, those are acceptable as well! As for interactions with the viewers and the hosts, I'm not quite sure what you mean. Do you have an idea for chat interactivity? Feel free to reach out to me here in this thread, as we're monitoring it. If you'd prefer, I'm also in the discord and my PMs here on the forum are always open! Thanks! Taters
