Thanks for watching!
And thank you for the WIPs. I'll definitely be watching and cheering from the sidelines. Good hunting. :)

Personally, I think the ticking noise could get annoying if it goes on for too long (like over 10 mins or so). As for a run, I'd definitely love to see one, but then I did played (and love) the game so I'm not the most objective person here. :)

Well, all the running was rather uninteresting, but then I can't exactly vote no on this while voting yes on the Megaman Battle Network 2 run so I'll give this a mild yes vote.

Yes vote from me. Out of curiosity, is it possible to download video from Nico?

Voted yes. I'd also like to add my support for hegyak's desire for a run including Dan.

Sarcasm not allowed here. Gotcha.
In the internets you gotta be way more blatant than that for one to assume you're being sarcastic.

it was used... because input already ended some time earlier and it's only AI vs AI (could maybe a comment be added to the video to clarify that?) specifically the moment Riesz' portait shows in the bottom character slot the input is finished
Ah, I totally missed that. It's a credit to your fine TAS I believe. :)

Just finished watching it. That was an easy YES vote for me. Out of curiosity, did using level 2 techs in the final battle save time, or was it just used to make the battle seem more epic?

Black Rabite wouldn't be hard at all; throw a dark coin at it to heal it which causes health overflow; it is now down to a few hundred hp, sneeze too hard at it and collect the badge.
Alas, my favorite boss brought down by the nuances of programming... Ah well, thanks for the response. :)

Been looking forward to this forever. Will vote as soon as I can spare the time to watch the run. :) Btw, wouldn't the hardest path be a Duran/Angela route that fights the Black Rabite? Not that I hold it against the run or anything, just curious.

All those years of testing, and Light never could get rid of that chronic hiccuping...

I'm loving these WIPS (the fact that this is one of my favorite RPGs doesn't hurt). Out of curiosity though, do you plan on going for the good ending or the fast aka. bad ending? For what it's worth, I think I'll actually prefer the bad ending. I just like the boss fight (well technically it's one) in that scenario. :)

Y'know, I can't see how this is getting so many Meh's and such lukewarm response when those absurd seven hour long RPG TASes are getting more positive response and are roughly 10% as interesting.
It's a case where people enjoy a TAS more if they actually played the game. Possibly because one has a greater appreciation of how blatantly the game is being broken.

for a few reasons. its ability is guts, which boosts its attack when it has a condition (like being paralyzed). plus, facade's base power is brought up to 140 (from 70) for the same reason, and it gets a same type attack bonus. so if i'm correct: facade's base power x 2 for having a condition x 1.5 for guts x 1.5 for same type attack bonus. add another x2 for critical hits and facade is dealing out tons of damage.
Ah, I see. Thanks for the response. :)

This was fun to watch, but I've scanned the submission post, and I don't quite understand the reason for picking Taillow/Swellow. I guess the question is, why did Game Saisoku decided to use that Pokémon? I'm just a total noob when it comes to all things Pokémon post Blue/Red.

As someone who's just learning about all the fun drama behind this game, I'd have to give a yes vote. Though I'm tempted to vote no so the quest to validate this game lives on.

There's something jarring about the whole losing cloths bit a la Ghost 'n Goblins. Perhaps it's because I don't recall it ever happening in the show. But minor nitpick aside, this was entertaining. Yes vote from me.

It wouldn't affect my vote one way or the other, but it would be nice to have a list of songs that were played in the piano part.

Well, I did enjoy the minimalist art parts of the TAS. It was different from having more iconic images which were getting kind of stale. Don't know if the abstract pieces were from games, or original art though, and I am curious. Unfortunately, the piano part was just indecipherable cacophony. Even after learning about the additional songs, I just can't hear them, even when I slow down the video. And the last part of the TAS moved too slowly for me. Like others, I spent the time doing the brain exercise. In retrospect, a TAS that allows people to play the actual game is kind of amusing, but at the time it was rather tedious. All in all I'd have to give this a No vote. Without the piano portion, it'd be in the Meh range. Off topic, and probably not possible in a TAS, but is there a mode in the game where you can just fiddle with the piano without having music playing in the background?

As someone who stopped playing this game for various reasons (didn't like the encounter rate, graphics, and music) I must admit it was nice that you could read the text w/o slowing things down. On the other hand I did find the battles to be rather repetitive due to using very similar tactics. Still, I suppose I'll give this a weak yes due to the ease of reading text.

You know what's worse? The last line in the video (essentially) says "Well, let's start your second lap!" and you are thrust back to level 1.
That's probably the most imaginative, yet disturbing rationale I've ever heard to restart a game.

Voted yes since it was surreal and short enough to be fun.

Oh, the reason why you need to be skinny? Your girlfriend (the pink penguin) will reject you if you're too fat. EVEN IF you rescue her from the baddie. Yes, that is a very shallow penguin.
She'll reject you even though she has an eating disorder herself? Eesh, talk about conceited...

I'll be part of the meh crowd. There's something about killing bosses w/o doing anything visible that's just so... lacking. And I was kind of hoping there'd be more going on in the video, but since I haven't played the game, I've no idea how feasible that is. At the very least though, it would've been nice to see the dropped items being picked up and used, even briefly.

Minor props for posting this today not tomorrow I guess. On a personal note, I would've picked butterfly for one of the songs.
