There is no goldeen glitch. I helped SuperDoodleMan make a video of it back in 2005 or so. There was an invisible Jigglypuff that used rest when goldeen came out of the pokeball.

Seems pretty suspicious to me. People have done this many thousands of times. The record was tied at 0.50 for years with tons of people until LDA broke it with 0.46.

Yes. I followed the WiP's all the way through and I enjoyed the whole thing. Although it is admittedly not perfectly optimized, the run was extremely entertaining and, in my opinion, easily of high enough quality to be published. Having played through the game several times, it was amazing to see the route planning and execution.

I've also been watching all these. I agree with Kyman that it certainly seems like submittable quality. I know I would vote Yes if you did. About Pyramid Scheme: it's amazing how quickly this level can be beaten considering how long I remember it taking. I loved the lava part where you skipped all the moving platforms. I'm really looking forward to the final product.

The .m64 desynched for me after the Midway, but what I saw looked pretty good. I'm sure the desynching is my fault. Here's the scanned pictures of all the overworld maps. I didn't do the maps of the smaller areas because having a map for those wouldn't really help anything. http://www.filedropper.com/rocket-robotonwheelsmaps The strategy guide isn't that well written, and I've noticed some tokens misplaced on the maps, but for the most part they're at least pretty accurate. I hope this helps.

Not sure how helpful it would be, but if you want, I have the strategy guide for the game. I could scan the maps from there. They seemed to help me a bit when I was looking for routes for a regular run of the game.

Having put hours of play into the time trial mode in this game, I found this extremely entertaining. The chain diamond reactions were impressive. Even knowing the game so well, at certain points I found myself wondering what you were trying to set up, only to have it cleared up in a second or two. As for possible TASing of other modes. I think the round game would be enjoyable to a certain point, but I doubt it could stay enjoyable after 100 rounds to even someone who loves the game (which I do). And for vs Com, it would just be setting up chains to make the cpu die instead of clearing the level. Also, I'm not sure about this, but I thought you could only play the hard mode of vs com once you beat the easy mode. I might have just never tried though.

Very nice run. It's nice to see very noticeable improvements in all 3 bowser levels.

Same as mapler. If I could vote, that would be an obvious yes. Great to see such great improvement on an already nice run.

If I could vote, I would vote yes. One of, if not my favorite TAS I've seen so far.

it isn't just a 70 star run, it's a blj-less run. if there was a way to get past the door or the stairs, it wouldn't be 70 stars

I'm currently learning how to use Mupen. As soon as I do, I will start working on planning a route/making a TAS for this. I have played the game through several times and have found minor shortcuts and glitches, so I'll be looking for more. Any input on known glitches or shortcuts would be appreciated since my only knowledge of this game comes from personal experience. As soon as I get up and running on the first level, I'll post a test video. Edit: before I get any further into route planning, I was assuming life upgrades are included in a 100% run. I just wanted to know what the consensus was.
