On stage 2-2 in the Ninja Gaiden TAS, the TASer flips through a wall (this happens at about 1:54 in the video on viddler.com: http://www.viddler.com/explore/adelikat/videos/650/). I haven't been able to replicate this on a console. Does anyone have any tips on how to do this on a console, or is it even possible?

hmm... I'd beaten Ikari Warriors ... 2 and 3. I don't remember if I beat 1 or not.
I can almost guarantee you didn't, not without the ABBA cheat code.

Yes.
I tried watching this .fcm TAS, but the player keeps on dying. I'm using FCE Ultra. Am I using the wrong version of FCE Ultra or something?
Yeah, you need to use version 0.98.12, found here, when playing that movie.
Thanks. Cool TAS. I don't think Kid Niki is a bad game choice. Isn't using the shortcut in the second level faster? You don't have to enter the secret room; just fall off the tree when you reach the upper screen, like in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZo-sF3sTFs

I have never played the game with two players, so I can't help, but I would guess that there would still be only one super-speed power-up in two-player mode. I think that a one-player TAS would be just as good, anyway.

Good job on your new version of stage one. It is quite entertaining and much better than the first version. I was glad to see that you got the knife and the heart. You might already know this, but I'm pretty sure that you'll have to get another heart in stage two so that you will have all of your power-ups at the beginning of stage three. Just shoot the enemies that you need to. I think that killing enemies just for points would make the TAS less entertaining.

I watched your TAS of the first level. You actually didn't get the knife because of a weird glitch in the game. If there is a hidden power-up nearby when you kill a pink soldier who drops a power-up, the power-up will sometimes appear as the hidden power-up, but you won't receive the hidden power-up's abilities. This is what happened in your TAS. The knife power-up is actually hidden to the right of where you thought you picked it up. Watch my play-through if you want to see where the knife power-up is. Yes, obtaining a heart will allow you to keep super-speed and all of your other power-ups when going from one stage to the next stage. In stage one, I've found only one heart. It's near the end of the stage.

I have been waiting to see a TAS of Ikari Warriors for a long time. I recently completed a non-tool-assisted play-through of the game without using the A-B-B-A cheat code. You can view and/or download the play-through here: http://www.archive.org/details/IkariWarriorsfullgameDVDRW For TAS purposes, you probably shouldn't use any tanks. Once you obtain the super-speed power-up in the first stage, you will move more quickly on foot than in a tank. Yes, obtaining a heart will allow you to carry your power-ups from one stage to the next. But this will count as using your heart, so you will have to obtain another heart in the next stage. Using the chopper might be faster during sections where you have to cross water, but I haven't tested this. Edit: By the way, I obtain the first super-speed power-up at 6:59 of the video. I think that this is the first super-speed power-up in the entire game, but I could be wrong. Also, you'll probably want the knife power-up for the TAS. The knife allows you to kill enemy soldiers by touching them. I obtain the knife at 7:51 of the video.

Whenever I download the torrent files and try to play them, I only get audio. Does anyone know why? I've downloaded the codecs, and I have the latest version of Windows Media Player.

Is it possible to send that Abobo through the wall to his death while playing in real time?
