Sadly, I have to see the solution. I tried all combinations and nothing happened 1. About the music, I have no idea what happens. 2. After retrying for a while, I found a way around the air cheep, which is a few seconds faster than getting the encounter. Link to video 3. It doesn't matter since there is no acceleration. You get to max speed immediately.

It would take too long to setup. The only fight where it's worth using is blizzard midbus.

I based my route off the WR so I didn't think of another strat. I just timed it and it's around 15 seconds faster than the original strat.

I just created an empty audio file. I'll see if it syncs, but it did work in the mic test menu. EDIT: I trimmed the file I used and fire attacks still work but now the run desyncs.

The problem is that the internal sample doesn't work for fire attacks in giant battles. It was the only option and I didn't see anything in the rules regarding microphone.

(also this doesn't matter at all but felt like mentioning, the RNG algorithm uses a multiplication by 20.5, not 40.5)
Nice typo. I was thinking of 41/2 and 20.5 when writing this.

If you talk to him in toad square he'll talk about a weird dream where everything is going slow. Then he heard someone press ABXYLRYXBA and everything went fast.

Actually Toadbert talks about it at a specific time in the story.

I already knew about that. Kind of weird, but it saves time.

It's not the whole level, it's just the trick. The room before and the rest of 1-1 are all my inputs.

It's just the first trick in 1-1 that I reproduced his inputs. I tried for a while by myself but I couldn't do it. Guess I should have asked him before using them. I did the rest of the movie. I don't know if he wants co-authorship just for that.

Thanks. I fixed it and saved an extra 2 frames over what you did.

7-1: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/31090401675108277 I am 176 frames ahead. I managed to beat one rocket frame rule saving me a frame. I saved another frame in the room after and with the help of the left+right trick on ladders, I saved 27 frames at the climbing part. Now let's hope I can make the veggie cycle in 7-2!

I'm fine with all your feedback. I have learned more that way and it helps me to make it better because I tend to overlook small details like subpixel caryover. The lack of motivation is more on my side. I mostly had to take a small break from this game since it's the third time I'm making this run since january. Also, theses days, I feel more like doing something else than TASing. I have so much other project though that I don't want to stop TASing. EDIT: I finished 5-3 if you want to check it. I have a 139 frames lead. http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/30956988824298601

Not that much right now. I have a small down of motivation so progress is stalling. I will still try to finish by the end of may.

5-2: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/30330464726140993 111 frames ahead. I saved 3 frames at the second part of the level and I saved 82 frames at the Birdo fight. Total time save of 85 frames.

I think it's around 1.5 hours.
