Hello TasVideos members. I'm posting this question on the PSXJin, but not to me, is for a friend. My friend plays in rerecording emulator with a joystick and has a PS3 control (a generic model) and can not configure the control to play this emulator (he can play in all emulators, except PSXJin). This my friend is from another country and I do not how to help himself. I have an Xbox 360 control and a generic PS3 and both work with PSXJin on my computer, but does not work in the computer of my friend. I hope you can help me. What could be preventing PSXJin to recognize his joystick? Thanks!

Hello friends, i need help: i'm record tool assisted movies of many emulators and i'm currently recording a PSX longplay with this emulator instead of PSXJin (is a good emulator, but have many bugs and incompatible games) and when I use the AVI Output to extract the PSX video from Bizhawk and the video came out totally black, I only see the audio but no video. What is going on I can not extract the video? The movie (bk2) synchs but i cannot see the video, only audio. I hope your answer and you can help me or teach me to extract the PSX video of this emulator! Thank you!

no hadouken on sigma head?
The hadouken does not work against the head of Sigma, Rolling Shield is the best option for this last boss form.

Do not send one movie with a longer time than the current run, to have speedrun movie published you have to beat the current record and have obsoleted run with less time and more things than this... for fighting games is not necessary low time run but is mandatory show awesome things and features like combos or glitches... voted no unfortunately... good luck in the next times, talk with more expert TASers here and learn more, do not let this discourage you. You can make impressive work, but this is for you learn.

Great submission, DarkNoob always make very epic runs on fighting games. And don't worry to use the SNES9X RR instead of Bizhawk, using version 1.51 v7 or 1:52 your submission will be accepted without problems. (i like 1.51 v7 because i see more stable and 1.52 have best sound in MK3/UMK3 than 1.51) I still really prefer to use the SNES 9X to the games of Super Nintendo (I have no problem in using the Bizhawk, I play well all platforms with it, just do not like to use for the SNES because of the speed and don't have fast forward to encode and correct some things more easily like the other cores, like the very good Genesis Core - is accuracy and faster). And i'm don't like LSNES (i tried use, but i don't like). My vote for submission? I VOTE YES!

A fun run. Yes vote! Admins: in publication you forgot to put: - Unofficial Game (is a unlicensed game) - Uses warps - Takes damage to save time (on 2:37) Can you correct this? :)

My vote: No. A TAS of fighting game needs more variety, combos or glithes. I don't see variety on this video. See more videos from Dark Fulgore, SDR or DarkNoob and use fun combos on your videos. Do again this video from beginning and try to put more features, this char is more capable than this.

Welcome back with great surprise TAS jaysmad! In the previous run you used hardest difficult, why you use easiest on this run? (only for curiosity). Deserves a moon tier by effort to control 2 players and some good features

I have hope for the Bizhawk have the core of Playstation, PSXJin unfortunately has many problems and bugs in many games (Xenogears and Threads of Fate by example). Every day dream about it.

Honestly PSXJin emulator needs updates... or a PSX core for Bizhawk... unfortunately many games have problems to run correctly on PSXJin (some games, like Pepsiman don't have music, other games have graphical glitches and flickerings or error at disc changes)... for Pepsiman published probably the encoders needs put music manually... :( For this run i vote YES to help publish, but without the music is a bit "meh". Good luck encoders
