Physical representations of numbers. Like the things you affix to the side of your house to display your address.

It's not even remotely possible for a game like this.

Try to work some of them into your next rap. I missed curtain, too :/ . I left out stain (and its derivatives) and pertain on purpose, but curtain is a legitimate miss. Damned drapes!

Doesn't matter if the above is an official picture, I think the glitch/trick to get a purple one would be known by now.
Oh, it's official all right. You can trust me.

As it appertains to this discussion, I ascertain that if you can't abstain from the distain of repeating maintain you may be certain Bisqwit will retain his rights as captain and chieftain to restrain you, fit you with a copatain, and ship you off to a mountain in Britain where you will be detained and forced to entertain us by reciting a huitain by Jacques Maritain (about the lithe and gracile chevrotain) until such a time as you attain a more enlightened attitude that allows you to better contain your basal urges.

The boost seems non existent can you show me or is there a WIP you have of it.
Yeah, it's a doozy. Unfortunately, I don't actually have a recording of it. It's possible I might be able to recover one whenever I try to grab stuff from the dying hard drive I've got sitting in my dead PC over there, but don't hold your breath. I've been "planning on fixing" that computer for almost a year now :/ . Someone has a Gens fuzzy input thingamabob, it was whoever was working on Vectorman. Maybe you should talk to him about setting it up to mess around with that jump in Sonic.

Human = dum Computer = dummer Human + Computer = deadly combination So basically I think humans using tools will always be better than a computer testing 100,000's of possibilties through a 5 minute game.
On this subject, I remember within the past few years there was a programming competition where one of the challenges was to find the fastest path through a number of tracks. Basically, you were given a bitmap of the tracks and some physics rules, and you had to optimize the path. One of the top teams utilized a very BisqBot-like approach where they built an engine to allow them to drive around on the tracks, record their best times, and then used random perturbations to optimize segments along the best path predetermined by humans.

I bet you any amount of money Nintendo could make a bundle if they released a triforce dance pad along with Zelda/Nintendo songs to dance to. Let's call Japan!

I think it was just for having a nicer business card, period. They never got to compare holders. Something about the cardstock ... such a nice color and texture ...

Keep in mind I know jack squat about the practical side of applications programming, but couldn't you just make a device driver that fakes keyboard / joystick input? All the emulators already recognize input from the keyboard, so ... problem solved?

I'm now at the cursed part of the game, but I've always been curious to know what you meant by You also missed a minor collision/boost in Labyrinth 1, though by itself it's not enough to improve the clock. The other levels use paths better than anything I have knowledge of. Obviously it won't break 40 seconds lowering the ingame clock is a rare thing in Sonic these days, but if it gains a frame I want to know. My only guess was that it part of a corner that pushes sonic down the way or is it something else.
At the beginning of Labyrinth 1, at the first place where you enter water, there is a switch you have to hit just before a gate that is blocking you. While the gate is rising, if you jump into it just right, the game will boost you ahead. I think this can save 10-15 frames tops, if even that. Good luck!

BoMF claims he can't get IRC to work any more, so we need to put our noggins together and figure out how to fix his problem!
