i wonder, am i the only person who plays the timeattacks on slower speed, so i can catch all the writing as it zoomz by? hehe, i never played uninvited or shadowgate as a kid, so i think its fun to be able to watch them and get almost the full effect. In fact, thats what i enjoy most about this site, i love watching people play videogames! and damn good too....

i stand corrected feitclub. how surprising. As for what i meant about mediums, i meant that they should stop selling cd's if they don't want us to make copies of them. They are being hippocritical. CD's and all the music are reasons to go see these bands LIVE. Shows are the best thing that artists have! for crying out loud, dave mathews and crew encourage people to bring tape recorders to their shows and to share their music with people, and what happens? Has dave and co. crashed and burned bc of the lack of cd sales? No way, they make more $ than most bands because they tour every year and so many people come to see them. So what i meant was that they need to make a decision either way: stop caring about if we get the music for free (the radio what?) or stop selling cd's if you are so determined to keep the copyright laws. because we, the people, can't be stopped. (ahem, steps down from soapbox)

i am only posting this here, and not in the NES forums, because i didn't want to break the law by requesting it there. In truth, i have started out on my own with it, but ill be damned, its really hard for me bc im not that good at it. But i love the game all to peices, and would love to see someone do it. If you are unfamiliar with the game, it plays like zelda except the dungeons are vertical shooters (you transform into a sweet as spacejet thingy). you can get all sorts of different weapons, and instead of an old man selling you stuff, its a big Blue Orb. So its an Action (shooter) + Adventure game I think that a seriously awesome and entertaining video can be made from this game, considering its got two types of games in it (justlike blastermaster) and it isnt too long, there are a few glitches with graphics that i think affect hitboxes and such, and open the road to doing crazy stuff (like possibly going through enemies on the flying levels, and going into places you normally cant in adventure) and if nothing else, there is a password that lets you play the flying levels only, if no one wanted to do an entire run of this game. just my.....two cents. hope i don't get in trouble :)

the RIAA doesn't matter with bittorrent, because any one person is only sharing a very small peice of the entire thing, and therefore impossible to tell whether any one person has the entire thing. Its like having a small corner to a painting, or the last 2 seconds of a song. It could be part of any painting, or any song, if all the clues you have are only that peice. esides, the RIAA is worthless pile of crap anyways. Totally going about these things in the wrong fashion, if you want to stop people from making copies, stop giving them mediums. As for fear of being slammed by a mean person cuz they found ur IP, don't make enemies.

i OWN ikaruga (like, literally, I have it on gamecube. Its also fairly easy if you are good at shooters, except in bullet-eater mode, in which you have to be Jesus on the Ferris Wheel of Doom level). I have not beaten it without dying. but where is Alien vs Predator? dude, i don't think anyone, anywhere, has beaten that game on hard mode. the enemies see you no matter where you are, and can kill you with one hit. its like a game MADE to piss you off. i think this one won the award for hard-ass game in the PCXL assolympics.

actually, i think Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest can be beaten in a short time too. My older brother beat it....without a TV. (stereo only). So it should be possible, and quick considering its a short game anyways. Much quicker than Mario at any rate.

i'll definitely have to check those out...haven't tried them at all. But yeah, rolling thunder is hard beyond all reason. When i was a kid i couldn't get past the 5th level. anywho, ill post something when i feel i have it. I am on of those guys that thinks the only cool videos are the ones that show people doing near impossible shit, basically just owning the game and making it extremely entertaining to everyone, not just the people who have played it. Sure timeattacks are cool, but putting that together with fancy stuff makes for real entertainment. At least to me.

I am a newbie at this for sure, but I am wondering if anyone else has attempted to do a speedrun for rolling thunder? It's not necessarily a long game, but it is one that, to be done fast at any rate, would look pretty cool, considering that you can't jump over the enemies unless they are ducking, and that u have a limited supply of bullets. I'm not going to post anything yet (it's all....rather crappy so far) Any suggestions?
