Sacrifices, basically (if you havent realized it by now) why the submission was rejected, you just shiwed off a trick. Thats the kind of thing you show off in the topic for the game, submissions are supposed to be a full completion of the game (get the credits to roll, full doesnt have to mean 100%, but you know what I mean).

Oy I just remembered. Its possible for plankton during the final boss to make the stray cannonball land in the cannon by itself so you dont have to carry it to a cannon to make plankton vulnerable. And thats how I got the current world record. I do not know how it happened exactly, but since its possible, its gonna be a pain to luck manipulate that in the tas. X.X

Its not enough that it actually makes a difference. And it costs alot more time to activate hard mode, (not to mention the extra length of the some minigames due to hard mode) than its worth. Not like it would make a difference in difficulty for me, but the game does intentionally prolong the minigames if you set it to a higher difficulty. So its really not worth it. Edit: also, the game isn't really that hard to tas, just hard to set it up, 'specially considering my schedule

I'm in a not so high mood right now. Well, this day has been just perfect, not. My submission to play a game at AGDQ 2014 was rejected, I'm not allowed to play games or do almost anything on the computer because of my grades and how much more is expected of me because of my age (I technically shouldn't even be on the forum right now), I wasn't able to focus today in school, the only thing I can do is watch TV and do homework. And homework takes up more time that I can't even watch TV alot.

one problem, I've already done my whole playthrough on zsnes. unless there's a way to convert my zsnes save file to snes9x (and unless I can figure out how to get snes9x-no wait, it was lsnes that didn't work. never mind), I can't do it without having to start over! DX Edit: Apparently, I didn't need to do anything special to my save file to load it in SNES9x. :P Also, it worked. THANK YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!! :D

Hey this doesn't have to do with TASing, but does anyone know how to do the cosmic reset correctly on ZSNESw151? Like I said, it's not for TASing, it's just for a Youtube project I'm doing. I want to be able to restart the game with everything, which is what the glitch is supposed to do. I've tried it right next to the ship and in the wrecked ship area, and it always triggered the ending. then I tried it in old tourian, which usually works for other people, but it freezes the game for me. can anyone help me set it up please?

I found a few more tips. In the volcano zone, you can do a dialog skip by pressing A to activate the character switcher in just the right position so you can keep moving, and then activate the "giant boulder" smashing tutorial. since the game is already transitioning, it skips the dialog, saving time. Also, I HAVE A SUPER STARTEGY FOR CLOCKWORK GUARDIAN! he has two phases. However, by hitting him with one Sandy Explosion combo and then eleven squid kicks (no more, no less), I can leave him at just enough health that one Sandy Explosion defeats him, skipping the second phase. And I found all that on vacation. Oh btw new RTS WR: 1:15:52.43

i messaged him that and said if it was an honest mistake, all he has to do is give credit, but if he either knew he was stealing, or wont give credit, i would report him. I'm awaiting a response from him.

He uploads final boss battles and endings of games. But the thing is, he uses the TAS runs of the games. That's why it's a big deal!

This game is bad and you should feel bad. This tas is so bad that it shouldn't exist. Because... This wasn't optimized enough at some points. The story to the actual game is poor. The title says it all. So anyway *ahem* I'm sure most of you have heard of Roahmmythril, the legendary dragon who perfect runs Mega Man Classic, and some of you also must have heard of Kevvl, the legendary Mega Man X Perfect runner. Well, I'll be the next of these "Perfect Mega Men", by perfect running the Mega Man Zero series. Although my first attempts ... weeeeeeellllllllll ..... http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jgG2lRz5UTw ... Yeeeaaaah, I blame stupid mistakes for that. And the 1up curse for that second-to-last one. So any tips? Btw, I'm questioning whether I should use the Buster only, the Z-Sabre only, or both (uncharged, obviously). However, this will be decided by the 2 fellow perfect runners, I'm not leaving that suggestion to the open crowd. I'll let people vote on that, so tell me what you think. Also, does anyone know how To record this kind of thing easily? i recorded it using Audacity to capture my commentary and VBA recorded the video with it's AVI output feature. Anyone know an easier way to record? Btw, for those wondering in the outtake where I said, "I can't dash jump", I know I can, my commentary was just cut off by my annoyance. And I am able to dashjump over that pit actually, I just did it wrong that time -.-'

Yeah an all bosses newgame+ is what I meant. Should be easy, since you would already have the stuff without having to search for it. And btw, by "easy" i mean "easier than regular run," before anyone says anything
