TAS Sonic the Hedgehog 3 "Copetition" by Nitsuja & MMarks c2
Well, again I could try, I improve two areas. I think that I improved my previous movie for 464 frames (8 seconds). I was trying to improve other areas, but I present this, to after, improve another, yeah there is
This glitch found him Nitsuja or another and it is easy to do. We must approach the tree, move to the left of the tree and jump. And there you can quickly scroll
Ballon Park: (1 frame faster)
This glitch serves to Sonic the Hedgehog 3, no Sonic 3 & Knuckles. It's easy, you have to jump, hit the balloon and keep going until you reach the top of the screen
Chrome Gadget:
This does not contain glitches, but it is difficult to improve. Although at least will try to improve a lap
Desert Palace:
This glitch is a bit difficult. You have to go full speed up the ramp (to start) and jump as high as possible, then go back. And when you see that the number of laps in 1, forward and will change at 2. And so on to complete the level
Endless Mine: (7 frames faster)
This glitch I discover it I. Listen, I destroyed the stones, make a spin-dash and jump on the ramp. Try to jump high, so that instead of going down, will fall on the floor of the goal
Suggest Screenshots:
Frame 2681, 5468, 7751
Possible improvements:
Desert Palace, and Endless Mine: I see there are some improvements in these levels
Enjoy....
mmarks: To encoders, the SD encoding are in their hands. The HD encoding be this uploading to YouTube
Mukki: Replaced the submission file at the request of mmarks.
Baxter: The main complaint in previous submissions was not beating all current records. This submission deals with that complaint. Votes aren't great, but good enough to warrant publication and no major objections are raised in the comments. Accepting.

I went with 2 players, but it is slow, because the glitches that run, and is slow for the characters and does not work. Although the last level or other would be fine, and add a little entertainment
[18:51] <scrimpy> Oh, nothing
[18:51] <mmarks> oh
[18:51] <Nach> I think scrimpy is just jealous of you mmarks

As for the run itself: It was alright. Sure, it isn't like the S3&K run, but it's still fairly interesting. Yes vote.
My first language is not English, so please excuse myself if I write something wrong. I'll do my best do write as cleary as I can, so cope with me here =)

I can't get this movie to sync past the title screen in Gens v11a. (I know you used v11b, but I was hoping the versions were close enough to still work.) I'd be curious to see if anyone else got v11a to work... I don't like to keep too many versions of emulators around if possible.
I watched the YouTube encoding of the old run, and that looks pretty good though. If it's faster than all previous records, I'd say it deserves a Yes vote. Are the previous times Nitsuja's or yours?
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically.
Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.)
Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html)
Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature!
Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. From the submission comments:
I think the rest of it came only from choosing a different game mode ("match race" instead of "time attack"), which skips displaying the results screens. (It also adds some item things but apparently those didn't make a difference to this TAS.) Unfortunately this means that we can't easily see what the per-lap times are (though it's probably possible to extract them from memory or change the mode back and resync it). It can be useful to know what these are because inconsistent per-lap times are a good indicator that a level is still improvable, and also some people compete on single-lap times and it would be nice to know whether this beats those records as well.
There is no luck to manipulate that I know of in the tracks themselves, but maybe in switching to "match race" mode it was necessary to manipulate luck slightly in order to prevent the new elements of that mode from causing desyncs with the old input.
I tried it in Gens9g, Gens11a, and Gens11c(dev) and it worked in all of them. Make sure you're using the correct ROM instead of "Sonic and Knuckles & Sonic 3".
The previous times appear to be the same as my old ones except for the last level, which I never attempted. So it looks like only Balloon Park was improved (by 1 frame) out of the levels I did, although I had thought that maybe some of the others could be improved.
