the reason I post this plants is to overcome the film that is already published you will see that I made a little faster than before and also there some new glitch.
about the TAS
in this run Shinnok use to become other characters and combos vary slightly, there are also new ones that have been found to: Two Men Down, continue moving after finishing the round, camera glitch and many more and playing Master II as the destiny.

DarkKobold: Claimed
DarkKobold: The majority found this less entertaining than the previous movie, and I have to agree. I felt the previous movie had more fluid combos, demonstrated more stage specific fatalities, an additional glitch fatality... While the continuing to move after the round was interesting, it doesn't outweigh the others. Rejecting.

the combos are sure interesting but the lack of fatalitys are a fatal flow for me it also seems that there are two more stage fatality that we didn't get the chance to see i'm holding my vote until i get more info about those...

This is a flat out no for me. Just extremely boring.

The "Takes no damage" category is incorrect. Damage is taken due to a blocked special in both rounds vs Jarek. The fights were reasonably entertaining, but I was surprised to see so few fatalities. In this genre, being faster than the current publication shouldn't be considered a good thing. I think runs in this genre should really only be playarounds, since an actual attempt at a speedrun would have no fatalities, and every fight would probably be endless luck-manipulated repetitions of whatever move yields the maximum damage per unit time. Meh (not that I can vote).

Just watched both this and the current publication, and I thought the current publication was more entertaining. Voting no.

No. [759] N64 Mortal Kombat 4 "playaround" by Xyphys in 09:13.72 is way more entertaining in many ways. The issue seems to be that it's missing the playaround tag for some reason.

I actually quite liked this despite the shortage of fatalities, especially the Goro fight. I was certainly entertained for all eight minutes by the clever and often comical combat, but that said, I don't know where this would fit on the site, as the current run is at least as entertaining. Thus, with hesitation, I vote no. EDIT: I *definitely* vote yes to gruefood delight.
Oh, play it cool. Play it cool. Here come the space cops.

I think this run was entertaining and full of cool details, like "Shinnok... Shinnok... Shinnok Wins", Kai making a big thud thrice at the end of the first round, Kai standing on air, camera glitches, throwing a weapon in the wrong direction, maximum damage oddities, continuing fighting after winning... There's a constant feeling of something being off with the run, if not a constant feeling of pwnage. This seems far crazier or more relentless than the published run. Although, it would help Thevlackdemonn2294's cause if he wrote more detailed commentaries to his runs... I personally think that regular, unglitched fatalities in a MK TAS are pretty trivial and should be avoided, done maybe once or twice for variety and that's it. Therefore, the author does the right thing by avoiding fatalities. Despite not being a MK4 expert, I can tell that this run is technically superior to the published movie. Subjectively, I find it more entertaining too (although it does have less variety as a playaround). It's not perfect, but I'm voting yes for new glitches, crazier playing and ventilation.

Watching a Mortal Kombat run without fatalities (I know there are only two in the entire run, but that's like having none compare to the number of fights in the run) is totally unacceptable! That itself is not entertaining at all. I would say that even if I see the same two fatalities performed every time (I know, it's boring) is more entertaining than not doing it. If there is absolutely no way to perform more than two fatalities per character, then selecting another character would be better. Entertainment wise, it's definitely better to watch a run with fatalities performed than a faster run without fatalities. Voting No!

Going to have to vote no to this. It looks well done to me, but it seemed very...repetitive and that feeling of repetitiveness kicked in right after the first combo and never went away. I did find most of the Goro battle and some of the Shinnok battle entertaining, but that was it. And even then there was that repetitiveness hanging over it. But the current video, on the other hand, kept me entertained throughout and mixed things up enough to keep me entertained and also used the stage fatalities (even if one was glitched...which in itself I found somewhat amusing).

I'm going to have to go with the majority vote here and say this just isn't as entertaining as the original run. It does have some new bits, like the glitch to keep moving after the fight ends, and the Maximum Damage oddities, but the glitches are overused. The run generally feels more repetitive (such as using Sub-Zero twice in the first few fights). It's also not as polished, where more moves miss against the CPU. Also, it relies a lot more on cheap tactics (especially the Goro fight with the sword swinging). I'm voting No, as the current run is much more watchable.
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. Some neat glitches and combos, but nearly enough WTF moments compared to other fighting games. I suppsoe it's a meh vote.

Wow, boring. Jumping back and forth does not a post mortem party dance make. Shinnok's throw is not that amusing. Fights against Goro have no right to be that monotonous and repetitive. Reaching "MAXIMUM DAMAGE" all the time is not entertaining, and not worth the frames it loses most of the time when it throws you back, when you could just wait a couple frames for the combo to end. This run was a disappointment to watch. To end this post on a happy note....I recently watched the Kombat Bio-cards for some of the MK: Armageddon characters (yeah, only about three years late to the party), and I am terribly amused they said that Kai is black because they specifically wanted an "African-American" character. Har!

Might be faster than the published run but Fighting games like this doesn't compete for speed... I find the current publication a lot more fun to watch as it uses a bigger variation of movesets and finishers. I have to vote No.
