I've created a quiz on a NES focused forum, and people are having way more trouble than I thought they'd have with finding out the answer. I'm puzzled, is it really that hard or did they not play this game? Help me find out. I've added one extra hint on the select button. Try to guess without pressing it. The start button should give it away to anyone who has played the game, or so I assume. http://www.angelfire.com/ex/uobt/audioquiz/audioquiz_v02.html There's another hint, if you press BABABA quickly and consistently you get part of another song in the game. So, is it obvious? Is it hard?

the Start button sounds sort of like Kirby's Adventure sound effects, but somehow I doubt that's it.

I'm open to suggestions heh... The two things I like about it: 1 - I already have the account. 2 - I can use the ftp on windows explorer. What's stupid about it: 1 - 15 mb space 2 - banner

Dropbox seems to be the de facto 'best' choice for putting up files.

The page didn't quite load properly for me, so I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be doing something on the site, but it's Gauntlet.

That reminds me, does anyone know what "LXXX XXXXT.nsf" is? You see it in game music collections everywhere, but I don't think that's the name of a real game...

I must admit I haven't kept up with the best free file hosts since getting my own server years ago, but surely there must be something that doesn't litter your page with ads? Maybe Google Sites, although that has even less storage space. Or maybe Dropbox, I don't know if you can use it to display files publicly to even people without an account.

Inzult: I'm pretty sure it loaded for you, that is just it, the controller and some sounds on the buttons. Was it too obvious? How much of the game have you played? Bag of Magic Food: Had never noticed it before. I don't recognize it and nothing on the web says what it is. It does sounds like something that was released by big companies during the NES era, which is intriguing. Dada/Patashu: I'll try dropbox and see how it goes, thanks. edit: ok, dropbox is great, I'll surely start using it, but it doesn't work as free website hosting. Ok, I guess it does work, how about that? http://dl.dropbox.com/u/26330550/audioquiz_v02.html

Oh ok, I wasn't sure but that is indeed what is loading so I guess we're A-ok! I've only been about halfway through the game, but I played a hell of a lot as a little kid. So the music and sound are burned into my brain forever. Since I was young I didn't really understand what I was supposed to be doing besides finding the exit, so even if I made it to the end, I wouldn't have been able to win. It's depressing to think about how much that game was stacked against you. I should revisit it now that FAQs exist and conquer those demons! In any case, I would never have guessed by the D pad and A/B. Select and start were both dead giveaways.
