Post subject: Famtasia Crashing once game is loaded

I got the Famtasia 5.10 from the link here, but the only problem is now, whenever i load up a rom, any rom for the nes, famtasia immediatly crashes. I get the message "famtasia510-patched.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." if anyone has the same problem and/or knows how to bypass this problem, please let me know. Thank you in advance

I had a similar problem. Try opening Famtasia.ini and chaning occupation to 1. Save the file, then try Famtasia again.

This probably does the same thing, but I was able to solve that problem by *not* choosing the "occupation slider fix" when downloading.

In any case, you still should set the occupation value to 1 because otherwise your emulator is as good as the normal 20fps.
