On an xbmc-live install (ubuntu lucid) i have everything setup pretty much the way it should be. i have zsnes, mednafen and mupen64 working fine. im trying to get fceux running instead of mednafen for nes as it seems better and i cant seem to get my nes pads working. fceux --inputcfg gamepad1 (repeat for gamepad2) i can map the buttons correctly using the above command but when loading fceux by default, the nes pads do not work. the same setup works just fine in mednafen though using the built in button assignment. when loading using --input1 gamepad or --input2 gamepad, the nes controllers still do not work. is this a known issue with 2.1.2? or am i doing something wrong here? im trying to make as much sense of the documentation as possible but it just isn't working. i cant upgrade to 2.1.4 as its broken in lucid as far as i can see. regardless, any tips? EDIT: ive solved my issue (updated to latest SVN, which seems to have some other bugs but i can work around then) but perhaps someone else might benefit from a solution to this problem
