Rygar time!!
This game is AWESOME! It still is my childhood favourite
game. And after time attacking it I like it even more.
There are so many great glitches and stuff you can do
in this game ;)
I use most of them to make it look cool and fast.
Ok, this run is about 2 minutes faster then Biswit's
previous version (atleast Famtasia claims it´s ~2
minutes). This is because I invented a new glitch!!!
Well, maybe it´s not new but in any case I discovered this
for myself (by accident ;P) so im kinda proud over it. The
glitch itself allows Rygar to "fly" and this saved me..
well 2 minutes apparently.
I still collect tone points (experience sort of) from
robots but instead of fighting the same robot a couple of
times I now can advance while fighting robots and thus
makes it more entertaining to watch.
I managed to get 3 robots on the screen at the same time.
Fighting those were really a pain in the ass ;P
Hmm. I also use the warp-glitch but this time I only dies
ONCE (!) instead of 4 times. You'll see why ;)
Ligar is teh_hardest boss ever (in my opinion ;P) but I
think I fought him pretty good. After reviewing my run a
couple of times I can´t see any obvious flaws in that
fight. If I don´t hit him I simply couldn´t do it. Either
I was out of reach or I would have been hit by his really
annoying projectiles. I take my "free hit" pretty early in
the fight. This is because:
- It was good at that moment. I could hit him a few times without avoiding projectiles.
- It´s really hard to judge when to use that free hit because the fight is so long. If I would have used it later I would still have had to avoid some shots..
Also, I manipulated some enemies to appear where I wanted
them too. For example some turtles over some gaps.
So, here it is. 2 minutes faster then my and Bisqwit's
previous attempt ;)
- Takes damage to save time
- Manipulates luck
- ABUSES programming errors in the game
- Uses a warp glitch
- Uses death ONCE as a shortcut.
- Aims for fastest time
And that´s it I think. Enjoy it ;)
