We did here in the game Super Mario 74 a Rom Hack from Lugmillord a zero star run. That sense is here like in Super Mario 64 that you get Stars to defeat later the last bowser. The only differences is here that, that game have 151 stars instead of 120 stars.
We found here BLJ´s and Side BLJ´s the that game can beat with 0 stars, too. How in Super Mario 64.
The Back Long Jumps:
At start the Side BLJ at brigde help us to go thought the 10 stars door. That save a lot of time. Instead of get 10 stars.
The BLJ to the second Bowser Course (Bowser's Aquatic Castle) Is a very simple BLJ. With it was it possible to go thought the 50 star door. With a right angle was it possible to get a lot of speed. That save a lot frames at this point.
The BLJ to the 3rd and the last Bowser course was very useful. We have going the 2 oblique walls with a the (C up) and then slipped from the edge above. So we was in the location, to use this speed for going thought the last door.
Times of the Bowser Courses:
Bowser's Badlands-Battlefield (21"13) Bowser's Aquatic Castle (12"60) Bowser Crystal Palace (16"60)
We have also try the fastest way to the key doors. But it can be, that maybe other strategies save more time than the ones we use.

Baxter: Replaced the movie file at the author's request.

DarkKobold: Judging

DarkKobold: This hack has been fairly poorly received, and I have to agree. The layouts are uninspired, and there isn't much added to the game to set it apart from the standard SM64. A hack should really demonstrate something far and above what the standard game offers. Thus, I'm rejecting this for game choice, regardless of the optimization level.
FractalFusion: Re-rejected because it does not satisfy conditions for Vault (hacks not eligible).

Hey guys, Dennis wants to update his .m64, since he was unaware that you can save time by ending input movie earlier. Here's his .m64. I hope this is a suitable way to update his .m64, if an editor can change it please. Thanks guys! http://www.mediafire.com/?oyvsx2z2qh9sa02

It's a good hack and the run is very well done. the only flaw to my mind is taking damage in the second bowser fight, it seems sloppy. but nontheless Yes vote!
How should I know what I think before I read what I post?

I.. Don't know... It's fast, well played and all... But, in the end, it's the same movie as the unhacked Super Mario 64. Some walls are walked trough, Bowser is defeated... Voting meh on this one. A 151 star run should be better for this movie.

What little of the hack was shown didn't look bad (though it suffers badly from "Real Is Brown"-itis), but frankly this doesn't show off enough of the hack to be worth publishing IMO. If you look at our existing hack movies, all of them show off considerably more of the game, helping differentiate them from the originals. That just hasn't happened here. On a semi-related note, I've felt for awhile now that BLJs (and related hyperspeed glitches like infinite wallkicks) make for boring movies, and this run hasn't done anything to change that opinion. Yes, we get that Mario can go fast enough to clip through plot barriers. It's not interesting any more.

Voting no. The hack visually looks kinda bleh, as does the level design (in my opinion, and granted it'd be tricky since it's a 3D game after all), and the run itself feels way too similar to the published SM64 TAS: glitch into Bowser levels using BLJ, fight Bowser, repeat 3 times. Except the levels are not as memorable or appealing (again, in my opinion).
http://www.youtube.com/Noxxa <dwangoAC> This is a TAS (...). Not suitable for all audiences. May cause undesirable side-effects. May contain emulator abuse. Emulator may be abusive. This product contains glitches known to the state of California to cause egg defects. <Masterjun> I'm just a guy arranging bits in a sequence which could potentially amuse other people looking at these bits <adelikat> In Oregon Trail, I sacrificed my own family to save time. In Star trek, I killed helpless comrades in escape pods to save time. Here, I kill my allies to save time. I think I need help.

talk for yourself :\ I don't know how publishing of hacked games works here, but if what people say, that it should show more of the hack is true, then I guess this is a meh rather than a yes for me, and a 151 stars should definitely be a yes

http://www.mediafire.com/?m096xbtkv4w9quc This is now the correct file. Where the movie is so long when Mario touching the ground with the X camera. Just only so long. That was my first try to submit a TAS from. And i don´t knew it. That calculate the run time. How many frames have my file. But it is possible to edit now this .m64 file in this submit? that would be very wonderful. :) And sorry for the inconvenience. At all :( And SilentSlayers. Thank you very much for your help. I appreciate it very. :)

It is somewhat similar to the Super Mario 64 "0 stars" TAS. But, it's a yes from me. Now we need a run in getting all 151 stars.

While it was nice seeing the BLJ used for more than just getting through the doors, I agree that a 151 Star Run would be more interesting to watch. Meh vote from me.

Sorry, No vote. Like what Derakon mentioned, this run is very similiar to the current SM64 run. Maybe a 100% run would be better?

Voting Meh, either make it in less than 3 minutes or the 100% run and that could be a Yes vote.

151 Power Stars would be nice. (gets down on knees and clasps hands) Oh please, great Balow brothers! How about also submitting a TAS of a 3D Sonic game? I've seen your work on YouTube and each video is awesome!

Everyone here knows I love Mario 64, but this hack just doesn't look good. The three Bowser fights are semi-identical to the ones in the original game, and the additional content which is shown isn't really enough in my opinion. Maybe a 100% completion would be interesting enough to deserve a publication, but even then I doubt so. For the mean time, no vote from me.

This hack is pretty good actually. He just didn't get to show it off. If you love SM64, go play it yourself. (This isn't supposed to sound dickish, giving some advice. :D) If you wanna see more, you can see some videos I've made if you want: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GirWevI03S8&lc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wq5FPbBiN4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x95Q5-A4L_Y Here's something that really shows a lot more (not mine): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EH6OY6UYRyw&feature=channel_video_title http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYbCILxykJY&feature=channel_video_title

I liked it, but after reading some of the comments by experienced members, I agree that this isn't different enough from the published 0 star SM64 run to deserve publication. Voting No, sorry guys.

I'd like to echo interest in a 100% run here, but a large percentage in this video seems to be the Bowser fights, which look almost (if not exactly) like those in the vanilla 0 star run.

Voted meh, I don't think the run differs enough from the current 0 star run. There is plenty of SM64 hacks being worked on as we speak. Hopefully one of them will look like a game that could be called SM64 2.
