I bought a new TV and I've connected my computer to it with a HDMI cabel. I've succesfully streamed movies and played SNES9X and VBA games (both with NTSC games), but FCEUX (2.1.4a and 2.1.5 as well) won't work for some reason. The game screen won't update while it's on the TV - the game is running and the sound works, but the picture is frozen. When I maximize the emulator window the game screen is still small but the emulator window is enlarged. I've messed around with the "run in background" settings, but they didn't solve the problem. Does anyone have any idea on why I have this problem? Let me know if there's any more information I can supply.

Clearly it's some intersection between the software and the hardware that can be handled properly in software, since SNES9x and VBA work. A random stab in the dark -- possibly it's a vsync issue? If the emulator isn't getting the appropriate signal, then it might never update the visuals. Try fiddling with the display settings in FCEUx.

I managed to solve it - the trick was to uncheck "Disable hardware acceleration". Thanks for the help!
