I can't wait to see what happens in the next episode. And I'm also anticipating the upcoming new season of Littlest Pet Shop.

I'm not in as bad a mood as I was before, btw. I accepted what happened, I'm just curious what's going to happen in the show's future. But: I don't like the pattern of having bad characters become good in the blink of an episode. I hope Tiara isn't just completely brainwashed to good now... At least have them jump to their old personality from time to time. Idk. Her bad behavior having been caused by her mother whom we've not seen before - and I didn't appreciate her personality, it seemed childish - seemed too abrupt and unbelievable 109 episodes late into the show. And although I'm not in a bad mood anymore, I can say that I still have mixed feelings and feel rather concerned. Maybe I just need to see the "next CMC episode", but that may not even happen until late in 2016 next season ...

I don't think Tiara is good, she only learned how to use her talent to get what she really wants with alternative methods. She tried really hard to use her talent of giving orders to become president but it completely backfired and lost her everything. She then learned why her methods weren't getting her good attention and decides to try helping. She used her talent to get her peers what they want and in exchange got the attention she always wanted. She isn't good, she is just being good when it is in her best interests. We may need another episode with Diamond Tiara to find out if she is on her own side or actually sided with her peers.

I don't think the show is that cynical. I really think the intent was for her to be genuinely redeemed. (If they are a bit realistic, like they oftentimes have been, she might lapse into her old self for brief periods of time, but that's about it.)

Since the episode Scare Master will be shown out of order (it should have been episode 15, but will be shown as episode 21), it will be interesting, related to the above discussion, if we will see the CMC without their marks.

For your information, Scare Master was already leaked on iTunes. It's floating around the internet now if you want to watch it.

And they managed that, plus some change.

This seems hilarious in light of the new Pinkie Pie episode: http://orig00.deviantart.net/50ee/f/2014/186/d/f/awfully_long_title_by_csimadmax-d7penhm.png

I don't think Equestria Daily ever mentioned this: We'll never have too many unicorns.

So after a long break of not reading fanfic stories, I have picked it up again now (because, let's just say: I have nothing else to do). The story I read was this one http://www.fimfiction.net/story/68128/three-hundred-and-fifty (It plays before Twilicorn, canon-wise) Just saying, I'm kind of passionate about reading fanfics again. Does anyone else read any, and which ones? As for the ones I read before my break, I have a list somewhere... I'll also put ratings, because I did keep track of such. Most of those are probably just Scootaloo stories but I'm just putting it out there for curiousity sake. Also, I'm only listing the ones here that I feel special about.
Final Dream Of A Filly, by AmberWings (Donna-Drakain) 10/10
Things That Go South In The Night, by The_EE 5/10
Loss, by Caffum 9/10
Under Your Wings, by Askesalsa 5/10
The Warmth Under Your Wings, by Askesalsa 7/10 (Sequel to the above)
A Broken Bond, by Rated-R PonyStar 7/10
Transcendence, by Corejo 9/10
Our True Colors, by Donny's Boy 8/10
Not All Who Wander Are Lost, by RazedRainbow 10/10 (Unfinished)
Make A Wish, by Perpetual Lurker 8/10
A Little White Lie, by Samsara 9/10 (I don't know if this is our Samsara...)
Cutie Mark Clarity, by ladydestinae 8/10
Of Challenges and Kisses, by RavensDagger 9/10
The End of Ponies, by short skirts and explosions 10/10
Because someone in IRC did ask what was the pony-related thing I wanted to do, here is some information: Final Dream Of A Filly was a short fanfic story that has touched me greatly - it was the first one I have read just after I got into MLP and while you might think of it as another lousy Scootaloo is an orphan story I just can't help but have a special feeling for it. I have set it to my mind that I would make it into a comic. But since I lack the motivation and willpower to actually go draw it, it never took off. I had finished the first page and lineart for some more pages but I was not content with it so I stopped it. Now that Scootaloo has gotten her cutiemark it seemed to me like the story has become void. I particularly remember one part of the story that would not have worked out anymore: Applebloom telling Scootaloo that even if she does not find her special talent, she will go on looking for hers. I might or might not work on anything now. I don't really know. I haven't been feeling like even drawing simple pictures anymore, but lately I feel like my interest is returning. Maybe I will work on something and even if it's less than what I had in mind with Final Dream Of A Filly. Transcendence was another rather interesting one to me, although the author has decided to "tone it down a bit" and erased some moments that seemed to much over the top - which I find unfortunate but understandable. Not All Who Wander Are Lost is yet another big one to me. The author seems to have fallen victim to writer's block and has never finished it up, sadly... The End of Ponies... simply was too long for me to endure reading it. I read maybe the first third of it before I gave up on reading it - this being another unfinished story because the author said he is "not done with it" but he has not worked on it for over 3 years now - and does not respond to status questions... Unfortunate because this is an enormous heck of a fanfiction to say the least which sucks to see go unfinished like that. I could probably go and write something about all the other ones I listed but not right now. If someone wants me to I will though. It seems that I have a preference for stories that deal with death/separation/goodbyes/bittersweetness.

The only "fanfic" I really care for is Story of the Blanks, which actually sort of turned me towards the franchise initially.

The only fanfic I ever actually followed was The Vinyl Scratch Tapes way back in the day. It was recommended to me. I seem to recall it be mildly diverting. (Other than that Cupcakes.)

I haven't really read a lot of pony fanfics lately; I've read both The Games We Play and Background Pony; there's also The God Squad (part one is finished, part two doesn't seem to be yet) and the Equestria Civil Services stores (starting with Those Whom The Princesses Would Destroy). Another one I've read is Princess Celestia Hates Tea, the premise of which is very amusing. There's also a strange crossover one with Hitchhiker's Guide that I can't remember the name of, as well as an (incomplete) cycle of stories starting with The Perfect Little Village of Ponyville. I've actually not read Fallout: Equestria yet, though that's next on my list of fics to read.

Thanks for reminding me. I went and checked a list of fics that I was going to come back to reading since they initially weren't completed, and now 55 of them are cancelled and 93 have not been updated in 2 or more years. :| Also 3 of them from my list seems to have been deleted by the author(s).

At 1:35 of this video, you can see Mom and me partially obscured by the logo. I also wish to add that I absolutely hate watching/listening to recordings of myelf because I am a huge goofball. Anyway, if you have an hour, you can get all the questions, the good, the bad, and the ugly!

Episode 113 Keep in mind I have only watched the episode once. Anyone else think the new episode was horrible? - Everyone seemed relatively out-of-character. The laughing at the repeated jokes felt cringeworthy because it was so unbelievable - it almost completely felt like the voice actors tried to break something in their body to get their best laughing impression. - The episode was not well written and took a strange course. It started off slow and then I didn't even understand what was going on in the end... I don't even really understand what was the moral and that's something that should be very clearly outlined, but I can't say it was. - Discord episodes lose their touch. In all the previous episodes he's been in, the episode was well written, he played a major role, or the premise was interesting - and the idea of a character who could bend rules like he does was still new. In episode 113, he felt shoe-horned in, just because. Because he's Discord and everyone likes seeing him. Well, that's the problem, if we see him over and over in some mediocre throw-away episode, he becomes a whatever-character that I don't care about. I want to see character development, some new epic story arc or something. Maybe Discord is Starswirl after all. Maybe there is someone other than Tirek that challenges Discord. Please give me something, instead of some throw-away episode where everyone feels cringe-inducingly out of character.

Care to specify what episode is this? (The episode's name would be great.)

What I don't like about these Discord episodes is that in his first appearances he was a god of chaos who is thousands of years old, and thus has the knowledge and wisdom that accompanies such a long life. He was very smart, intelligent and scheming. This was so in his debut appearance, and in the episode where he's made to make his heel-face turn. In subsequent episodes, however, he's childish, petty, outright stupid, and lacking in even the most basic of knowledge.

At the same time, being stuck in the same spot, unable to move, for a thousand years must have an impact on one's psyche, immortal or not.

Let's just hope they don't make yet another stupid decision like in the last two finales...
