That's all. XD

Baxter: A game crashing when using rerecords is not an excuse for submitting a run that doesn't use rerecords. This is not a good game for TASing regardless of the use of rerecords though; rejecting.

Can you please provide more information about the run (and the game)? This sounds interesting.

Rerecord count unknown, that is, the rerecord count in the file gets parsed as zero. Edit: Checked hex dump of the file against .wtf specs, the rerecord coun field really contains zero, it is not a file parsing mistake. Now, while there are some legimate reasons to have that it is not a good sign. So why seemingly 0 rerecords?

Tried to watch this on Hourglass, but Ad-Aware kept claiming the game itself was a trojan and blocking it. Not sure what's up with that...

Like Ilari asked, why 0 rerecords? The purpose of this site is to use tools like rerecords, so why not use them?

I think we can accept a 3 minute long movie if there is a good explanation for this. But yes, I agree, we need that explanation.

Lost...Silver? Wow, of all the Pokémon: Lost Silver is a game that was created specifically to act out the story presented by one of those "creepypastas" you may hear about. Spooky stories to tell around the internet campfire. BOO! As such, the game is really nothing more than just following a very strict story with no real gamey elements to it. No random battles, no real battles at all other than effectively interactive cutscenes. There's nothing really to be TASed. Leave Point A and go to Point B with no obstacles and do Thing C. Go to Point D with no obstacles and do Thing E, ad nauseum, until the point when the game cannot be continued. As such, I have to vote No, because there's no game to be TASed, per se. It's an interesting experience for people who've played Pokémon and can enjoy a little mindfuck sorta-game. Watching the videos on the progress on Pokémon: Black (similar thing, but more developed game-wise), though, was a neat reminder, I'd forgotten he was working on this, too.

Bad game choice, plain and simple. As said above, voting "no."

Thank you for telling us that, Twisted Eye. Well, this means I have to vote No. mlw7, make sure the game you're TASing isn't too easy to finish with tools. If it's too easy, it won't be entertaining and it won't get accepted.

Wasn't Lost Silver that one that gives you the Unowns that spell things out and a critter that knows flash, then you face a Celbee that's missing an arm and a leg? Also the sad pikachu? And eventually your trainer loses his arms, legs, torso, head, and says he's dead? Yeah, I saw that one, it's pretty creepy and if that's the one, I don't think it would be a good choice. Sorry, but it's mainly scripted out. If it is that, then I've seen it already, just nowhere near as fast as this, mostly because the one who did it was being guided by someone else. Plus it's considered a hack... Those need special permission anyhow.

Yea, since anyone can make a 10 second windows game and make a TAS of it. =O

The game always crashed when I tried to rerecord.
