Dang still crashes? That's annoying. I think I'll have to burn down all my Gambatte changes (they aren't relevent at this point anyway.) That will teach me to try to modify code that I only vaguely understand.
This crash was only occurring after I swapped from GBHawk and reloaded the core (it was happening during my testing) but I can't prove it was linked to the core swap as it was somewhat random. I couldn't get it to happen standalone and I couldn't get it to happen reliably. Also does ANYONE understand the Gambatte code?

Not really a bug, but is there a way to access the INS / DEL and FUNC keys on SG-1000? Oh, and are there any plans to integrate the joystick support in addition of the keyboard for the C64 and Apple II cores?
Tastyfish has implmented the keyboard. So, this and several other games needing the keyboard can now be played. Tastyfish has also implemented several other features for the SMS/GG core recently including lightgun for anyone who might be interested in trying these out.

I used to do to tas tests in Mario Kart 64 in 1.11.5 and it works well, except for the slowdowns when savestates are set(fixed in 1.12.1, but the gameplay still works better in 1.11.5). But Mario Kart 64 runs terribly slow (in 100% speed) in the 2.2.1 version. Is possible to some developer to fix ONLY this QuickSave issue in 1.11.5 but keeping the rest exactly like 1.11.5 works for default? Or maybe fix this 2.2.1 slowdown issue in next Bizhawk update?

In 1.11.5, does it run at around the same speed if you change the CPU mode to "interpreter" from "dynarec" and you swap the graphics plugin to one that's available in both (just use Rice or something maybe)? Jabo is the fastest of the video plugins by far so you lose a good chunk of performance with the loss of that, and you also lose a good chunk of performance with the loss of the dynarec.

Have you tried using the latest build mentioned in here? If so, then try also reporting a bug on github?

Yeah, same speed, but worse graphics. And Bizhawk keeps freezing for 20 seconds after EVERY QuickSave.

I just tried it and the QuickSave issue was fixed but the game keeps running in slowdown. Maybe if someone add Jabo again, that could works well again. EDIT: How should i report this bug in Github? I must e-mail to support@github.com? Do They really fix it?

Please, do not Email Support@GitHub for BizHawk issues. Instead, use this page: https://github.com/TASVideos/BizHawk/issues

Have you tried changing the N64 video plugin? This can be accessed by using the top menu and clicking Config > Cores > N64 Video Plugin Settings. Change "Active Video Plugin" to Glide64mk2 and see if your game boots. You also posted this over here, too.

Problem is, it's default and I can't change it since the N64 settings only pop up once you've loaded an N64 Rom and it crashes pretty much immediatly. I also couldn't find an obvious setting in the config file. Is there any way to change the plugin?

I can't help with the bug itself, but you can access the N64 video plugin settings via Config > Cores > N64 Video Plugin Settings.

Ah thank you. Never knew about this additional way to reach the setting. Edit: Also I'm a bit of a dummy. It works with my NVIDIA GPU, the crash is with the Intel GPU (Sandybridge). Should I still add a bug report so you guys can make sure it fails a bit more gracefully or is this a case of "why bother"?

Yeah post an issue. And it'd really help if you installed visual studio and tried running the debug builds of bizhawk and gliden, so we could see where exactly it dies. See below.

OpenGL support on Intel integrated graphics (on Sandy Bridge) is notoriously shoddy, which GlideN64 relies on.

Since there is nothing to be done to fix the actual plugin, I made a report asking for it to fail a bit more gracefully, instead of crashing the whole emulator. Ofcourse that seems very low priority, but maybe somebody will get to it at some point.

When trying to use the software to run the PAL-only game Taz Express, BizHawk emulates very poorly and almost completely stops processing the game once you start a new file. I don't know how to explain the issue further than that, but it plays smoothly up until that point (basically, it plays smoothly until you start the actual game).

BizHawk 0.0.0.1981 What is causing theses warning and what are the consequences? I have not changed anything on my side since previous versions of BizHawk, not even the assigned keys.

What causes that, is there are keys on an AppleII keyboard, that have not been assigned to a button on your Keyboard or Controller. What are the Consequences? If a game or application requires you press those buttons, you can't until you assign them a button.

Why have I never seen these two errors (or warning) appear before then? The only two keys I have not assigned are "return" and "escape" because I use other keys for them (and "Previous disk" and "Next Disk" are not mapped under controllers setting too). There are also many games, like Mario Bros. where the character moves alone to the left, without the possibility to move (even with the capital key pressed). Has anyone ever had this problem? (And thank you for your answer hegyak, even if it does not teach me anything that I could not deduce by myself :D but, I still don't know what "White Apple" and "Black Apple" correspond to...)

note that the error says "Dev warning". Because that's a note to devs on a dev build. It happens when you open the virtual pad. And it tells the dev that the virtual pad need to be fixed because it is missing or incorrectly added those buttons. Your version number is a nonsense number so I can't give you much more info than that. Other than it is probably fixed in the latest release, if not, then it is a bug that coudl be reported. (Not the message pop up, specifically the buttons that are not behaving correctly on the virtual pad)

Thanks Adelikat. "BizHawk 0.0.0.1981" is this rev e5ded9b13 But the two "errors" appear when launching a game, not when opening the virtual pad.

I don't know why you would be getting them on game launch. But schema refers to virtualpad schema, is 100% about the virtual pad

Yes, you're right, it's my fault, I had the window of the virtual pad open in background and I didn't see it. However, should we report a "bug" on github for the buttons behavior or not? And there are also many games, like Mario Bros, Night Driver (and some others that I just tested in speed just now) where the character moves alone to the left, without the possibility to move (even with the capital key pressed). Has anyone ever had this problem? Tested on the latest release, BizHawk 956518bfc.
