There must be a TAS for every single official NES game by now. Could someone please add up all of the times and then we can see how long it would take to beat every single official NES game. That would be awsome!

Lucky TAS of 2013
There's a huge amount of NES games that don't have TASes yet, but if you're willing to work on some to help reduce the number of unTASed games, this would work towards your goal.

Is there a list of un TASed NES games?

Here is the list of NES (US) games. Here is the list of Famicom (Japan) games. And here is the list of Famicom Disk Games (Japan again). There is a lot of overlap so it is not the easiest thing on earth. As you can see there are hundreds of games that are currently un-TASed for the NES. The bigger question is how many games are left that do not have a TAS that simply won't ever be TASed like sports games, ports on a better console, and games that do not have a final goal. I am in the process of trying to sort all of these out and have the relevant TAS information in the document but at that many games I haven't even finished sorting out the games let alone put any TAS information in.

And of course, there's a massive number of games out there where TASes of them would not be received favorably by this community, though that number is shrinking over time. But in e.g. any puzzle game where TASing doesn't provide you with a material advantage, a TAS would basically amount to a walkthrough for the puzzles, which isn't very interesting.

Yeah, there are still quite a few US NES games that would make decent TASes that have not been done yet (Power Blade 2 springs to mind). If you add in Famicom there are tons left to choose from. As to how long it would take to beat every NES game I have no idea. On a semi-related note, I remember reading a gaming magazine 10-12 years ago that had an interview with a guy that set out to beat every NES game when he was a few games away from this goal. I've searched on the internet a few times since then to find out if he ever finished this, but I never found anything. It's quite a feat to say the least, TAS or otherwise.

Would neat to beat every NES game. Some of friends back in the days of the dorms set out to beat every NES in my friend's stack. I remember we didn't like Bayou Billy and quite on it early, and spent about 3 months on battle toads, the 3 of us. This was with out any guides or emus. Some of the ones I beat for first time where TMNT, ghost N' Goblins, and Rush N' Attack. We beat a lot of stupid games like Karate Kid. Those were fun times.

It would take infinite time because Gauntlet 2 has no end. But you might redefine what "beat the game" means for those cases. If you copy all NES roms into a single special cartridge, you can beat all NES games at once with a single punch, just saying.
No.

Well, here ya go. I got bored and so I decided to make a list of all the U/E games without TASes. Some of these games may have a TAS, but it was rejected because of being sloppy or such. Some games may not be on here because they have TASes that were rejected because of poor game choice. I took this list off of wikipedia and individually searched each one on TASVideos. Some may have non TASVideos TASes, but at this point I'm not sure. Some of these games may not make good TASes, but since I haven't seen any on it, its up to you to decide which are good. Also, may have mistakes. Correct me if I'm wrong. http://pastebin.com/rwGJNyAF

What? No TAS for Bart vs. the World or Rollergames? Someone needs to get on these!

NES TAS of 2011
Rollergames would be very boring, regardles of not being easy in real-time.
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting. If TASing is meta-play, TASVideos Movie Rules are meta-meta-play!

Looking at some rollergames videos, it may not be overly boring. Super-human gameplay is what TASes are about, right? If there were pretty much any good glitches, it may stand a chance on the workbench, but idk about actual publishing. It may just get repetitive.

Your post missed at least a couple of games: Rambo Breakthru I know this because I submitted TASes for these games. While the TASes were well done, they were rejected for being a "bad game choice". This also is the reason for my Golgo 13 TAS rejection. Unless the site's goals change, I don't think we'll ever see a TAS of every NES game. Right now, entertainment is valued highly enough that some games will never be accepted at the site.

Er, they shouldn't be on the list then.

Bad game choices aren't on there. Atleast ones that have been submitted.

I noticed Action 52 on that list. But there's already a published run for the main subgame (The Cheetahmen), and the only other subgame that's been TASed is Billy Bob. Do you think any other Action 52 subgame would make for an entertaining run?

Nah, not really. I'll get it off. I would enjoy watching a TAS of all the non-identical games. Well not enjoy watching. I would be interested.
