This is excelent game to fans fight game. Developed by Capcom in 1997 and ported to the Sega Saturn in 1998 and PlayStation in 1999. . He is a "crossover" (placement of two or more otherwise discrete fictional characters, settings, or universes into the context of a single story) there's other too like Marvel vs. Capcom(Followed) and X-men vs. Street fighter(Preceded) and other games realesed by capcom that resulted in this game. It was X-Men: Children of the Atom Followed marvel super heores. But they are excelente game too.
Game objectives
  • Emulator : FBA.0.0.2 ( works in current versions )
  • Game: Marvel Super Heroes vs Street fighter (970702 japan)
  • 1p and 2 player
  • level 8 ( In this case is the last level)
  • secret chars unlocked ( not them all)
  • tricks and glitches
  • many Combos and break combos
  • max number combo
  • various matches
Generally I work on mk's run because I believe know many glitches and crazy stuff but today I bring a run with many combos(basic, intermediate and advanced), crazy situation, glitches and I believe a little entertaiment ;) this was a hard work because I had many desyncs during run and I had studying the my movements that could be better added . I used the Japan version to play as Norimaro a joker character (done by Noritake Kinashi) that it's only playable in this version. I don't used all secret chars because really they aren't much interesting, (Mephisto and US.agent.)
  • Something I'm sure you will realize;
Dhalsim's freeze move : is a glitch happens after a flying screen dash ,that allow the you " walking on the air " in a short period of time. If you use yoga strike and hit in your opponent the game will crashes.
Zangief/mech Zangief jump cancels: use a super jump and count 4 frames ( in case mech if I remember is 6 frames) press down moves that requires down press ( hk or mk).
super combo cancel : ( on partner of team "2p" )if you do some super combo that requires the permanency of your opponent during the move this super combo will be canceled.
Fake char postion : try do a combo on the 2 partner (team opponent) and then moviment the 1p player(opponent), the game will not recognize the position of the 2p and will obey only the position of the first partner. For exemple in the run (ken vs hulk)
furthermore happens other glitches if you trying make a special/super move that requires a throw.. the display combo won't count this combo..exemple (Mech Zangief Final Atomic Buster on Dark sakura after double super combo)
I hope you enjoy this work and Special thanks for izumojinX and error1 videos, helped me during my play
Well I think is it!

Noxxa: Judging.
Noxxa: The run is widely considered very entertaining by the viewers, and I can see why. Very nice playaround. Accepting for publication.

I really really liked this video, it was quite funny, and entertaining, and the two final fights against Cyber Akuma were great! Two things I did miss though. Ken's Shipuu Jinrai Kyaku is invulnerable from oncoming attacks, even hyper combo's as he's pulling his leg back, it's funny to see someone use say Berserker Barrage X against Ken, nothing happens, and then Wolverine gets clobbered. Chun Li has a midair hyper combo which does a ton of damage (or was that added in Marvel Vs. Capcom?), that isn't largely known.

+Spidey's screenlock and Hulk's dash glitches, and I'm sure others. Given how notoriously glitchy its successor is, I was a little underwhelmed, but I've been part of the combo video scene for a long time, so the basic infinites and unintended chains that have been known for ages didn't do much for me. YMMV.

I also enjoyed this run very much. Clear yes vote. A few highlights: (spoilered for those who haven't seen it yet -- I recommend you should watch the run first if you haven't done it yet)
  • Norimaro and Dan team-up. Most notably, the awesome Otoko Michi finish.
  • Cyclops beating the crap out of Dan, combo counter already way past 99 hits, while Dhalsim's theme is playing in the background
  • Dhalsim crashing the game
  • Let's just say there's more than enough Mecha Zangief showcased in the run
  • Wolverine abusing the combo counter (and Chun-Li) like Cyclops
  • In the same match, Chun-Li just basically kicking the crap out of Hulk, while Wolverine jumps around to move the screen
  • Ken juggling the Hulk in the corner near infinitely while having his back turned to him, while CPU Captain America (unsuccessfully) attempts to approach, ending with finishing Cap with Shippu Jinrai Kyaku with hardly any interruption
  • Ryu vs. Ken, in a manner that couldn't be made more epic
  • Zangief's finishing Final Atomic Buster on Cyber Akuma, interrupted by HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER
  • Akuma vs. Cyber Akuma pretending to do a Dragonball Z fight before Akuma finishing with Shun Goku Satsu
There's probably a couple more, but these are the ones I could come up with right now.
http://www.youtube.com/Noxxa <dwangoAC> This is a TAS (...). Not suitable for all audiences. May cause undesirable side-effects. May contain emulator abuse. Emulator may be abusive. This product contains glitches known to the state of California to cause egg defects. <Masterjun> I'm just a guy arranging bits in a sequence which could potentially amuse other people looking at these bits <adelikat> In Oregon Trail, I sacrificed my own family to save time. In Star trek, I killed helpless comrades in escape pods to save time. Here, I kill my allies to save time. I think I need help.

Just for these alone I would accept the movie, yet there was so so much more.

A little more character variety might have been nice, but this was a really good run. It clearly took a lot of work to craft the fights. Nicely done!
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. From the submission comments:
Shoutouts and thanks to mklip2001 for arguably being the nicest and most supportive person on the forums.

Nicely done indeed. The highlight of the run for me was interrupting Zangief's Final Atomic Buster kill of Cyber Akuma with a new challenger. Easy Yes vote.

I have to say I was sceptical when I saw this at first, but it was entertaining. Maybe too many double kos/interventions from other characters? That's my opinion, but the rest was very entertaining, and I busted out laughing quite a few times. Overall, big yes vote

some of the characters aren't that interesting, maybe that's why he skipped them...actually when i think about it,there's no shuma gorath or omega red and those were pretty different characters,so i'm voting yes,but it could be improved.
TAS i'm interested: megaman series: mmbn1 all chips, mmx3 any% psx glitched fighting games with speed goals in general

Omega Red appears as an AI opponent, for what it's worth. Otherwise I don't think he's that interesting though, his unique specials pretty much consists coils, coils and Omega Strike and those would get boring before the end of a round. Shuma could've been interesting and has some interesting moves but I don't think there's all that much to do with him either. Anyway, I think the character selection is fairly great as is, it worked to keep the run from ever becoming stale, even for its length.

These characters don't have normal humanoid movement, and look weird to watch. I also don't think either of them have any particularly exciting moves to see.

Someday, we will see MvC2. Until then, this is pretty good.

Whenever there's a Dreamcast emulator with stable TAS capabilities, I'm counting on MvC2. The PS2 version might be possible, as I've seen a few TAS's on that system such as this, although from what I've read there are some drawbacks which I'm unable to explain in my own words here.

That didn't seem like 18 minutes (not counting the credits). It felt like 5. I was very entertained throughout the run, and there are so many great moments (other people have listed some of them). I can't give this anything other than a Yes.

I'm voting Yes, because: * There is not already a TAS for this game on this site. * By default, we need more playarounds. * The run is quite entertaining (as a playaround should be). -> Several close matches. -> A couple draw matches. -> Lots of pretty hyper combos. -> Maxes out the combo counter several times, but does not cross the line into "okay, this is getting old." * Uses a wide variety of characters and shows off lots of glitches. -> That lockup was awesome, and I loved how it was resolved by HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER! rather than resetting. -> Bonus points for this run showing Sakura kicking some ass for a bit. Actually, I take that back, because mostly she gets horribly, horribly owned. I'm all for Sakura kicking ass. (Yes, I'm a Sakura fan.) * This run owns bosses. -> First occurrence of Mecha-Gokui, I love how he's right about to get KO'ed, then suddenly - HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER! I laughed SO HARD. Personally, I thought this was fun to watch. I don't really play fighting games all that often, but this TAS just further proves to me why I love watching them so much.

He doesn't use Sakura at all. Sakura shows up as CPU controlled. He instead uses the secret character, Dark/Evil Sakura.
