Well, here's my timeattack for Beavis and Butt-Head, finally. This is actually the fourth version I've done, and compared to the third version, the total time was cut by over five seconds (pretty good, considering I thought the third version was good enough to submit). It gets the good ending but not the best ending, since that requires more time.
Beavis and Butt-Head have just bought two tickets for the Gwar concert on Saturday, when suddenly their tickets are grabbed and eaten by a dog, vomited back up, and then shredded into eight pieces by a lawnmower. What bad luck! It is your task to track down the eight missing ticket pieces by guiding the boys through some not-so-bright activities around town (Note: Before you go getting any ideas, please read the disclaimer in the opening screens ;) ).
This game has a non-linear setup: you can go to any of the seven levels any time you'd like. The catch is that some levels can only be completed with items found in other levels, and the game gives you very little direction on where to go and what to do. Adding to the trouble is that each character can only hold four items at a time, so you have to plan ahead if you want to avoid needless backtracking.
I discovered a couple of tricks while playing that came in handy:
-No-Laggin' Item Snaggin': When you pick an item up, there is an 11-frame delay before you are allowed to move again. However, you can break this delay by jumping. Furthermore, you can break the jump by quickly switching between the characters. When done fast enough, this cuts down the time needed to grab an item by a few frames.
-Switch & A Miss: Although you only control one character at a time, both are always on-screen. Whichever one you aren't controlling follows at a short distance and is completely invincible. When the character you're controlling is about to get hit, you can switch to the other, let the hit pass through, and then quickly switch back. I use this technique to avoid quite a few hits.
Some notes on the levels:
Burger World: I did this level first since it's quick and easy. Look carefully at the code entry screen for something curious: the finger hits the "2" button, moves a bit to the left, then hits the "3" button which is further on the right.
Hospital: The chase sequence here was always the hardest part of the game. I can't remember if I ever finished it on the actual console.
The Street: This level required the most planning, because of all the backtracking through dangerous territory required. It's also my least favorite level. >_<
Turbo Mall 2000: My favorite level. Since I've already done Burger World, I can get all three ticket pieces here in one shot.
Drive-In: You need to sell stuff at the mall before you can get in here. Thankfully, the rats didn't cause any grief this time.
Highland Highschool: Oh my, that's one long hallway.
Well, that's about it. Hope you enoy the movie!

KOOL!! Finally a B'n BH run, I'm gonna watch it immediatly and edit my thoughts about it afterwards. I'm currently also working on a run on this, I did the levels in the same order, gotta look if your's is faster then mine so far ^^ Excellent. Very fast handling with changing the items and stuff. Very well planned. I can't see this being improved by much, maybe a little bit on the streets but that's all. Gotta cancel my run, mine is _teh_ shit compared to this :'] However, I dunno if this is that entertaining, for me, as I know the game quite good it is entertaining, for someone that dunno the game and downloads timeattacks to see videos with massiv action and impossible movement it is maybe not.

Hehe.. As far as I remember this game is pretty hard. But it didn't seem so hard when you played. Excelent speed. Good navigation. And I really like that switch and miss thing you do to avoid taking damage at certein points. How much longer would the run be if it were with the best ending?

Great movie! I love teh B&BH. I say yes to this one, though I think it could be improved in a couple of spots but not much.

Well done. I forget, what's the purpose of looking at the gwar ticket board the first time around? Do you get an item when you do? If not, I don't think it's necessary. I'm a little curious about some of the damage taking spots, and if it would be better to wait until you can jump without taking damage, but I trust you tested each. Otherwise, I only wish that we were able to see what was going on half the time, like what items you were picking up and stuff. But, not your fault. One of my biggest worries concerning this was when you were running out of the drive-in movie from the fat woman- I thought we'd never see her, but then suddenly towards the end you see her hand popping out from the right, then all of her in her beauty, and it was just funny.

I don't have an exact answer, but I'm guessing it would be at least a minute and a half longer.

You need to do this in order to drop off the ticket pieces you've collected so far. Otherwise, you wouldn't have enough item slots available.

Yeah, in the sewer section, those rats get right in your way in certain spots, so it's faster to just jump right over them and take the damage.
