So I'm at my girlfriend's house, she has a stomach virus, and so she decided to take a nap. So I'm bored. I know, let's whip out my laptop and make a tool-assisted speedrun!
I started this when I read that Kyman thought his run couldn't be improved. So I improved it by 30 frames, mostly because of lag reduction and a better strategy in the boss battle. Instead of jumping, I fire a knife. This causes him to jump, which allows me to get under him before he wastes time throwing a knife and kill him earlier.
Thanks to Kyman for his previous run. Enjoy!
  • Uses vba-v24-vbam
  • Takes damage to save time
  • Uses glitches
  • Uses warps
  • Is still really boring

Improvements!

This run is likely close to perfect. I have redone every level once, and improvements were either succesful or negated by random lag.

Nahoc: Claimed for judging.
Nahoc: Incoming frame war? Better publish this quick! Accepting as an improvement over the published run.

Guga: Processing...

This game is too slow and the glitch isn't really cool. I couldn't tell that it wasn't supposed to happen. Also, the damage taking and the dodging looked bad, even though it seems optimal. Also, the lame music is definitely an off-putter. Out of all the Addams Family games, I don't think this warrants a place on TASVideos. I nearly fell asleep before it ended. I'm just glad it wasn't a full run =P Voting no because of bad game choice.
I don't really see anything super-human, Kyman. A few hours after my post I tried doing the glitch on console and succeeded easily.
After all you said. Why did you decide to make a TAS of this game ?

Alright. Was just wondering. Overall it still holds the same quality as Kyman's other than the Lawyer Fight.

Improvement so yes vote, though it still isn't the most riveting minute and a half.

If that isn't a good reason to do a TAS I don't know what is.

You guys are amazing! I wish I have your motivation to be in those frame wars, but I'm kinda lazy... Well, the movie itself is short enough to not kill me with boredom and is an improvement, so, I'm voting Yes.

If I'm correct, this is about an 8 second improvement in reaching the final level. This also improves by 6 lag frames to the point where I use a different route. I tried to hex the rest of nitrogenesis' movie to this but it didn't work. If anyone finishes this up and at least ties the current movie in all parts, I would want to co-author with them.
