If a company patents "server bandwidth increase by a scheme where users use a program that shares part of the server bandwidth" or something like that and the patent is granted, the company can start demanding license fees from all developers and users of programs that fit that description, threatening with court. They are planning to allow that kind of patents be claimed.

Why can't people just download the fmv so they don't need BitTorrent?

There are lots of ppl never heard of Famtasia and they don't have the roms either so I guess the movies are better choise for them.

ROMs are kind of illegal to download and not everyone has a dumper. Of course, everyone downloads them anyway, even if they don't own the original. But it's not nice to encourage such behavior. Having the AVI releases yields a wider audience. Not just game otaku but casual gamers and the uninitiated all get exposure.
someone is out there who will like you. take off your mask so they can find you faster. I support the new Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun.

Do you think Fileplanet would be willing to host the Famtasia speed runs? They have Morimoto's SMB3 speed run so I don't see why they wouldn't take others.

I really hate Fileplanet. I always have to wait ,say, 30 minutes and that makes me pissed off. But if it is possible for Fileplanet to host these speed runs then why not?

As a nonregistered user I have found Fileplanet too hard to use. I'm not going to use it.

I think Fileplanet sucks, it's nice of them to host files but all that advertising and waiting and needing to register for gamespam-mail sucks. I don't know what would better describe it, nice-suck or suck-nice... =/
