Post subject: Dolphin closes when playing dtm file

has anyone any ideas why ? i just select the game and go to play recording. the recording opens for 1 second and immediately closes after... one question: does it work to start recording after playing a bit. or does it only work with start up?

Afaik, recordings can only be started from the loading of the game, not after. If you would like to start from after, you would need to Start Recording -> Play to the end of where you want the video. Then load a savestate where you want it to start. Hopefully that makes sense.

Perhaps as soon as you load the recording, pause the emulator. Then try loading the same state that you started the recording with.

You can start recording after starting but not playback. Use most recent rev to start from savestate though.
