No idea what to say, so I'll just copypaste the current run's text: Keitai Denjū Telefang (携帯電獣テレファング) is a series of video games produced by Smilesoft and published by Natsume. The games are monster-battling games, where the player contacts various creatures using a cell phone-like device called a D-Shot in order to get them to battle the foes he or she will encounter. The name of the series derives from Keitai, which is Japanese for "cell phone," since phoning creatures is an integral part of the game, and "fang," to symbolise the various beasts involved.

Game objectives

  • Emulator used: vba-v24m-svn422
  • Breaks the game
  • Breaks the previous record
  • Doesn't break the graphics

Comments

A 1890 frame improvement. Most of it comes from a slightly different route taken, such as swapping denjuu during the 5 minute wait and only recruiting 1 dragon. Also, because the last run's graphical glitches were distracting, I didn't trigger them this time. Once again, MisterChess did not do any actual TASing, but his knowledge in how the glitches work was so valuable, that without it, this run would've never existed. It is for this reason he deserves to be a coauthor.

Possible Improvements

Write to C3E1, activate the credits; finishing the game in five minutes. This still eludes me to this day, so yea.

Nahoc: Judging...
Nahoc: Haha, what a nice Pokémon rip-off! Accepting as an improvement to the currently published movie.

Brandon: Publication underway.

Looks promising, but I'll wait for an encode (from someone other than jlun2).

I think marking the phone numbers of monsters you haven't met in this game should count as "uses passwords"
No.

If this becomes a problem, I'll just redo the movie. :P

He did the same in the old run, so it should be fine.

Oh, I forgot to mention this, but these "passwords" are required for a 100% "Catch em All" run (if anyone would do this) since the Denjuu obtained from it do not appear anywhere else (ingame). So it's not simply an optional cheat code or something that's unrelated to the game.
