Once you zip it up, change the extension from .zip to .bk2 and see if you can play it back.
Alternately just send the input file and someone will patch it up.

I just used 7-Zip 15.14 [64-Bit] on that file. It opened for me.

My x86 7-Zip didn't. Might try updating.

I can't seem to even with 15.14. Can you please see if the input file remains?

https://www.dropbox.com/s/65xffhzhwh7rhpp/jlun2%20%20Scooby-Doo%20Input%20Log.7z?dl=0 The Input Log appears to be valid. Though it is different from the old format but it appears to make sense and isn't corrupted.

A minor issue, but it seems for "insert # of frames", in order to have 1,000+ frames inserted, you have to type 999, then press up over and over. Can this please be made to allow another digit?
Fixed.

Thread #17925: Bizhawk issues This thread in the Newbie forum got me to look up how to reproduce the bug being talked about. Quick GIF of the bug in action: Easy reproduction steps: 1. Create a new tasproj 2. Record 20 blank frames 3. Drag down some new input from frame 10 to frame 30 4. Frame advance a few times without going past the end of the new input 5. Drag down a different piece of input from any frame past frame 30

Such bugs would be the hardest for me, since it's all about how input works in the emu itself.

The RR counting is actually not working as intended. The current method of "increment rerecords when greenzone state is invalidated" is only working for platforms which have greenzone states on every frame, but with n64 it might often not invalidate a greenzone state.
Fixed.

I found a bug. I think it's related to TAStudio so I'll post it here: Steps: 1. Open a GBA Rom 2. Set the GBA core to mGBA 3. Make a short movie (bk2 file) 4. Stop the movie. 5. Set the GBA core to VBA-Next 6. Reset the core. 7. Open a bk2 file made from the mGBA core 8. Play it a bit, close (stop) the movie 9. Without advancing a frame, open TAStudios. You will then get this And after clicking ok, TAStudios will show up. Pressing any button then goes like this: http://imgur.com/TeP4bu3

The problem here is that VBA-Next is a separate Core from mGBA and the movies should, in theory, not play cross-core. I will escalate this to something to further look into.

I've had this happen twice to now where BizHawk crashes after trying to load a branch, then the size of the .tasproj file I was working on is drastically reduced and I get this error message upon trying to reopen it. I've been backing up my files fairly regularly, but it has caused me to lose nearly a full day worth of work twice now. Is there any way to restore the .tasproj I was working on, or use branches without this happening in the future?

Hetfield90, here's your project. http://rghost.ru/68RRQJTbm If that happens again, just open it with something like 7-Zip and remove the Greenzone file. The states got corrupted for some reason. Can you figure out the exact steps that reproduce your bug?

This appears first http://pastebin.com/dk9b2mwu Then the box from the pic appears. Details give this http://pastebin.com/W7i6ntA7 Finally, if you press insert even after the red X, this happens http://i.imgur.com/ZVbewOQ.png

Right, it doesn't switch the core to the one in the movie. Probably that happens on other systems that have several core options. It's not a tastudio bug, report in the main bug thread.

I'm not sure I like the business of automatically switching cores. I concede the usefulness, but there's big differences between cores. Having the wrong core selected should be as big a senseless incompatibility as the wrong system.

I can't remember what the exact steps were that made it occur the last time, other than the final thing being me trying to load a branch. It happened again though, this time by trying to go back to a point in the TAS where there were no were no close savestates, causing it to start from frame 0, and then adding input into that section.

You should try exporting to a bk2 after every couple thousands of new frames done. I'm doing that after my first tasproj file got corrupted, and while this may be annoying, better losing ~2000 frames of work than hours of work worth tens of thousands of frames.

You don't mean Scooby Doo, right? Because the updated 7-Zip opens it just fine.

I fixed crashes that were happening if you save branches while seeking, and something about changing input while seeking I think. https://github.com/TASVideos/BizHawk/commits/master?author=vadosnaprimer EDIT: Guys remind me what columns you wanted to always be hidden by default.

Off the top of my head, Tilt X/Y/Z and Light Sensor for GBA.
