I'm interested to know what hardware the encoders here are using. Post your hardware specs. Here is what I use for encoding: 
CPU:                Intel Xeon E3-1245 V2 @ 3.40 Ghz
Cores/Threads:      4/8
RAM:                32 GB
HDD:                2x2TB SATA-3 RAID 0.
