I don't get any forum topics/posts as results when I search this site via Google (example). Looking into it, the TASVideos robots.txt blocks the forums for all crawlers except for Google's ("Mediapartners-Google"). But since Google doesn't show these search results, it clearly isn't working. This being the case, the only way for normal users to search the forums is by using the standard phpBB page. Compared to Google, searches take more time to complete, you're only allowed to perform 2 searches per minute, and search queries are inferior by nature. Upgrading to phpBB3 (AFAIK, this site uses phpBB2) could help a bit, but that's a different discussion. Is there a reason that Google searches of the TASVideos forums are disabled?

Thanks! Being a noob, I didn't know about that. From that page, is there a way to search only the forums and not the rest of the site?

And it is not just spam but all kinds of other undesirable stuff... Also, yuck at Recaptcha. The one currently on the site seems quite effective (the spam we occasionally get doesn't seem to be automated) and is pretty readable (the colors could use some adjusting for colorblindness).
