  • This movie is a play-around, I didn't try to use the quickest way to win otherwise fights wouldn't be interesting.
  • This player is the fastest fighter from this game so inputs can be enter quickly and many actions are possible.
  • It played it in easy difficulty because in hard you must avoid fight every times to do something and this is not entertaining at all.

feos: A playaround submission that gets only 50% of voting support, no posts that mention the movie was entertaining, a few "sloppiness" comments, and even difficulty complaints? I have to reject this movie. But yes, for playarounds, any difficulty that would allow for a more entertaining movie is allowed.
As for playarounds of this particular game, I advice to test out versions on other consoles and post WIP movies to see which one the audience likes the most, and also to let people share ideas that would help to make it more entertaining, as happened in this thread already.
In the end, I want to say that playaround TASes are possibly even harder to make than speed-oriented runs, because it should include all one can invent and still be funny to meet people expectations and our common playaround standards, so a good playaround would require much more work and co-operation to get liked. Better luck next time!

I agree. The purpose of TASing is to show what a superhuman playing a videogame would look like. That usually means mopping the floor with the game on the hardest difficulty setting. Using the easiest setting kind of makes the whole point moot (unless there's a very good reason to use it.)

Don't forget: We accept TASes which uses the easiest difficulty, but only for good reasons.

There are too many reversal with the hardest difficulty (even in normal) and that make combos impossible

looks like easy mode is required for a playaround to work. on that basis i would say you must not reject based on mode choice for playaround alone. ive never played this game so im not really sure how entertaining i should find this.

No, because 1) it's nothing to play easy. When I can walkthrough on hardest difficulty... Not so fast though. 2) I don't hear comentator!?!?! Is it PSX version so ripped? :S

I watched encode video (and didn't watch fully). Hmmm, I have something need to say Some years ago, I played this in short time on SNES (WWF: Wrestlemania The Arcade Game). I was beat game in hardest with nearly all rounds got perfect with Razor's character. The best tactic for every characters can make best combos, just need make catch (forward, forward + medium punch). The problem is that move can counter-catch unlimit (not sure on PSX still have this). I was verus with my friends and we got time up with no damage because counter-catch. That reson make me didn't like this game Back this run, with a person know this game, some reasons make me disappointment - Play with easy, most ppl said why. I know you don't want enemy make counter-catch after you catch them. But this reason will reduce entertaiment very much. With expert players, they'll show pfff face :D - Play with 1 player. This game had allow 2 players in a team. With 2 players, you can make unlimit cmbos by every attack style. The problem are they're hard control - Don't have highest or unlimit combos. In fighting games, show off best combos alway make watching ppl feel happy more than - Low glitchs or bugs. I know this game have auto target. It have bug can drag players from a distance to closer. It have evrytime while play in real life - Play as normal. Except attacks in correct frame time, then all same in real life I was played Sorry I vote No, don't have any surprise

Because of the use of the PAL version. Edit: The bios is scph1001 which is an issue. Since the bios is meant to be scph1002 for the PAL game. Edit 2: If you're going to be doing Crash Bash it better be in NTSC. Voting No since there was no explanation on why this was.

There's also a lot of sloppiness. Missed uppercut ~35 seconds in, missed punch ~1:23, random punches for no reason at ~1:46 (mashing to pin?), etc

What is counter-catch? I know "reversal" but it deals damage.

This trick can repeat forever If you played with enemies in hardest, you''ll alway see this trick when you catch enemies

command catch: forward, forward + medium punch (for player using and player got catching) I was played and knew it on SNES only, not sure other console btw, back this run plz. Counter-catch isn't what problem need say in this run
