Stuart Little must run, jump, and drive across eight levels, collecting things along the way during his journey home.

Game objectives

  • Emulator used: BizHawk 1.6.0
  • Aims for fastest time
  • Uses self-damage to save time
  • Complete the game on hardest difficulty
  • Abuses in-game physics (barely)

Comments

This is my first complete TAS (first TAS period, really). I drew inspiration to do this game from a rejected TAS of the same game which used a password to skip to the final level. As this is my first TAS, I expect there to be much optimization that would need to be done. The physics in this game are pretty bad, but the game itself isn't that bad. I'm proud of what I've done with this TAS, and hope to be able to do more in the future.

Noxxa: Replaced submission file with a new version which ends input 1389 frames faster.
Noxxa: Judging.
Noxxa: This game is absolutely terrible. I'm not sure how much of it is the fault of the game, but the run itself doesn't come across as being that great either on a technical level. The votes are positive, but comments on the run quality are scarce. I can't make much out of the audience response, so I'll disregard the votes. I'm accepting the run for the Vault. Neither the game nor the run seem to have what it takes to make a good Moon-tier TAS.

Requesting the submission file to be replaced with this zip: http://www.sendspace.com/file/d3ce9t There was many frames of blank input from stopping the movie well after last input. I also uploaded a crappy temp encode, will probably provide a better one later. EDIT: uploaded a 480p encode. should be good enough to watch without your eyes bleeding

Does jumping repeatedly increase your height?
Message me here for my discord. Current Project: Psycho Waluigi Project on wait list: None?

Only on specific bouncy surfaces (like the bed, specific tree branches, etc.) that are built into the design of the level. As for the "mouse-hopping", it's purely to increase speed when compared to normal running.

What if you landed on it from mouse hopping instead of doing it from a dead stop?

Unfortunately you just keep moving forward if you try to mouse hop and land on a bouncy surface with no additional height.
