I've seen there are various versions of snes9x-rr for download. And there are three featured ones: 1) snes9x-1.51-rerecording-v7 2) snes9x-1.43-rerecording-v18 3) snes9x-1.52-rr-r185 Which one out of those three is the most reliable? (the one that desyncs less) Or should I get one of the non-featured ones instead?

I prefer use Snes9x rerecording 1.51 v7 because is fast and more stable (and still accepted here), 1.43 v18 is good but is not accepted here... the 1.52 version have desync issues and i'm not use anymore

You may want to get 1.43 and 1.51 / 1.52 (either one) and test for differences in lag, and if certain glitches you want to do work the same way. (As said, 1.43 is not accepted anymore though.) Here are some notes from my personal experience: 1.43 v17 desyncs when doing tent glitch in Earthbound. Recording mode would behave differently from playback mode. Don't know about v18. 1.51 seems to have more lag in Kirby Super Star than the console, but I can't back up this statement. I'm only recalling an impression I had from years ago. That's the reason why the unfinished WIPs were started on 1.43. I never used 1.52.

We can truly say that Snes9x 1.52 has no Lua support. Therefore, use bsnes Snes9x 1.51.

SNES9x 1.52+ is not recommended for some hacks, like Super Mario World: The Second Reality Project Reloaded. 1.43 have continuances in 10 games. I am disabled, I have DMD, I can't hold a controller very well, and SNES9x doesn't have a TAS editor built-in, being my biggest handicap in TASing.
