Post subject: How to play Mega Man X2 and X3

I know you have to download CX4.rom, which I have already done. I also set it in the firmware setting so that CX4 is active, but still the games just won't load or start up. What am I doing wrong?

Bizhawk. I also tried the lua script, that didn't work either.

Mega Man X2 and X3 don't run under bsnes' performance core. Switch to compatibility core instead.
