No announcement, but this was discovered: http://www.twingalaxies.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3719 So yeah...new WRs on all the Zelda NES games...except Scott Kessler, aka SDKess, beat the AoL time on SDA. So yeah...sometime in the future...I need to beat 33:51 in LoZ on NES...

33:51 -25:29 = 8:22 There is an 8 minute, 22 second difference between the last emulator run and Rodrigo's time. If you follow that route, and rely on luck (gambling) you have 8 minutes and 22 seconds of imperfect fighting leighway. Thinking of what the emulator is obviously better at, immediately I count the four blue darknut rooms, and the patras. Someone with your skills should be able to pull that off in 8:22. Have you just been postponing doing a Zelda 1 run because it relies on luck?

*Off Topic* Mr. "TheSilentAssassin", will you tell us what your next project will be? I think many would agree with me that perhaps your next speedrun should be Majora's Mask, what do you think?

I enjoyed this movie in which hands firmly gripping a shaft lead to balls deep in multiple holes.

Mayor Haggar and Cody are such nice people for the community. Metro City's hospitals reached an all time new record of incoming patients due to their great efforts :P

Under a route Michael Fried posted on my forum for a human run, it was blantantly obvious I could get in the 33 range. My current run, minus the mistakes I shouldn't have made, should have been close to 35 mins flat, rather than 36 mins. I think the route I must take involves getting the Magical Sword later, if ever, one gamble being successful, doing Level 3 first, and getting my items at more convenient shops. I do plan on beating the 1st Quest Time, but my next project is Link's Awakening.

With or without the screen trans glitch? That makes quite a difference, making the game beatable quite quickly.
.... wow.

Given that TSA only speedruns games without tool assistance on real consoles, a safe bet would be without that glitch, for it to be accepted as a record in any form.

He is also playing the DX version, which doesn't have that glitch.
