Let's hope, that will probably decide if chus are faster in any% Kreygasm

If 1 frame you end up in deku, next you end up in cutscene... Isn't that some other thing, to do with your camera when you open the door or something? B/c I know even without the slab there, you could get this to happen... right?

This is the closest I could get the blue warp to appear http://i.imgur.com/ueBQt3P.png After testing, I think the wrong warp would be doable using some kind of slide or fast movement (maybe an untargeted megaflip from inverted camera) towards the door. with ISG active, the camera tends to lag behind and with enough speed, the wrong warp can be achieved. [I performed the wrong warp by using a code to increase link's running speed slightly, and the camera was far enough behind for the warp to be loaded while link runs through the door] Keep going guys! I just know this is solvable.

if we do an A slide maybe after clipping, it might be doable. opinions expressed my me are invalid

http://puu.sh/bHSmC.jpg This the closest blue warp I could get for now (if I go in the left corner of the slab and do 6 sidehops left, I'm nearly inside if you guys want to realize how far it is and if someone could get better) And then http://puu.sh/bHPaB.jpg this is where the loading of the blue warp ends, So if we could get passed the door with the camera locked here, we'll be able to ww.... If I use ISG as G&S said, the camera is like, super mother f***ing close to this place, I'm so close >< maybe some TAS strats could do more Edit: oh I just got a better spot, less than 6 sidehops http://puu.sh/bHSKj.jpg

Quicker 231 skip, it can be done from just outside the slingshot scrub room Link to video

Ganondoor might not be working because of this: by performing the 231 skip, you end up changing Link's speed when exiting the door, thus the timing for Ganondoor will either be different or impossible. Normally, Link's speed when walking into an area depends on how fast he was moving when touching the previous exit. However, certain spawns will lock Link's speed to a fixed value, which is the case when entering the Deku Tree. When you go through doors and touch a loading zone, your velocity is reverted back to the stored value, thus the speed is always consistent when performing Ganondoor normally.

Just wondering what's the rupee route? I thought of getting 18 from the rocks‚ 15 from three blue rupees and 2 from the bushes close to the rock circles‚ but maybe throwing 2 more rocks is faster than getting the blue rupee behind the house?
I problably made mistakes, sorry for my bad English, I'm French :v

I'm guessing just 10 for the escape, then get a stick in botw and do the jumpslash clip clip method for early chus, then after chus vineclip to get the shield. I may be forgetting something but idk :p

I'm pretty sure the blue rupee behind the house is slower than throwing 2 extra rocks. So it'd be throwing 8 rocks for 24 rupees, 1 from grass pit, 5 from the platforms and 5 from the shop.

You need to get 35r for deku nuts and 2 sticks. Btw. that wrong warp isn't confirmed yet. There are problems with getting through the slab when the blue warp is so close and doing the 231 skip might screw stuff up. We are confident, but it hasn't been done yet.

What ? No way, I didn't used cheats to clip through the slab, I actually went as fast as possible in the right side of the room (with the blue warp on left side) I activated ISG on bushes while the warp was unload, and I went against the slab by moving my camera angle to be sure to don't load the blue warp, I did inverted camera angle to gohma clip with bombs (Yes because cliping with bombchus is a huge ass pain in non TAS) and then I messed around and hoped to get the good frame with a good camera angle. Btw, I tested it, Link has the same speed when I walk through the door, even with 2-3-1 skip and even if he doesn't, I don't see what's the matter

Ah yes. If there is a team I wanna join. I have been YASing alot and I think I could be an asset to this project. I don't really care what I get to do as long as I get to do something. Also as a side note. I am having issues blowing up a bombchu without a sword. I am trying to do swordless jabu skip

That's all very promising. Still I will sleep easier once somebody has done all those things in one go. But it's good that it's basically confirmed working now. :)

Sorry for the derailment guys, but I just read this thread like 2 years back because of way too much free time at the moment and I wanted to share this gem with you all.

Having to get 4 deku sticks made it significantly slower to skip sword.
Are you just assuming that, or is there good evidence complete with semi-accurate timings to support that margin of victory is greater than margin or error? This reminds me last time I tried show everyone swordless was faster. Let's not blindly assume things until some math has been done please.
There's no point in timing it because it's obviously much slower. The only reason no one has objected this is because they're ignoring you.
That's exactly what everyone said about swordless for the ~40 minute strategy, including MrGunz. I proved it was faster by a decent margin, MrGunz took note and peer reviewed my work (my work being 1st grade math and few youtube videos, 5-10 minutes of work, an open mind and some basic logic) and confirmed I was in fact completely right. That's exactly what everyone said about bean skip to get up to gauntlets in desert temple. I argued bomb hover would be faster and showed the 1st grade math to prove it. Years later people figured out I was right all along. So here were are, same situation, I'm not quite able to get very accurate estimates since there aren't any good videos for a couple of the off route detours for getting the sticks, and there's large tree possible strategies with subtly differences. But it shows something like 7s faster with a 8s margin of error, so likely between -1 and 15s faster. MrGunz, wiser this time, never dismissed this possibility from the start and has been peer reviewing my work and seems be finding similar preliminary results. Historically it's been proven closed minds are counter productive to speedrunning and don't serve the community. Open minds, 1st grade math, and basic logic is how you plan good speedruns.
It seems his dream of a swordless TAS is so close now! EDIT: also found this:

Also, is there definitely no way to get past the 2-3-1 room OoB without bombs? That's all that shield is really needed for, right?
Can't be done as child. And it does help with pcs and isg.
Is it possible to skip shield too now? Or is it needed to block bombchu damage or something?
