Since the 100% run is spliced, I can't complain why not to submit it anymore. But something bothers me, why you kept this spliced secret all along? It doesn't make any sense... -_- (unless you did and i didnt even noticed.)

He never makes any sense. So does his brother too.
I’m sorry. Really I am... I am so sorry for what I did. Forgive me.

The more apt comparison would be the newest Firefox and Internet Explorer 6. But ofcourse, you can use whatever you want.

I watched the run, and I saw some stuff I've never seen before. No parts of the run come to mind that look like they could've been done by a player (if only because the map keeps turning on and off at an alarming rate). I don't really understand the technical aspect of why a Mupen run couldn't be accepted anymore (splicing... what??), but if the run were submitted here, I'd vote yes. I thought the run was both technically impressive and entertaining... isn't that all a TAS really needs on this site?

No Mupen is so out dated and also has some major compatibility issues. Read the thread silly. It explains why we all use hawkbiz now...

Then you should really watch ZFGs speedrung: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lY6IRd53HI It has all the stuff, minus annoying map spam.

Press Z for 9 frames, then let go and hold a direction for 3 frames, then hold Z again.

It should be fairly obvious by the video and description really... =P Taylor did a "no doors" TAS two years ago (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGeLcnaudnI) but because of new discoveries in the game, real time runners have now beaten that TAS. So he decided to make a new one and put a lot more effort into making it.

maybe the description helps. The video itself needed some explaining for me to understand. Thx for explaining

hey guys, some weird new glitch found. Relevant links: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUUX2Q3L8uI & https://www.reddit.com/r/speedrun/comments/3mdqom/ledge_storage_discovered_in_ocarina_of_time/ Also: Is OoT TAS'ing dead? No activity here in like for ever and bloob/grunz/swordless show no interest in making a new TAS and nobody else seem to be able to make one. Maybe TASing OoT is just too hard and too much work edit: I should specify that my concerns are regarding runs eligible for submission to this site or of a simular standard

I've been inactive for 3 months now, but the general consensus for the GIM any% route was that it's simply too boring to be worth optimizing. This doesn't mean people aren't working on other routes or the any% by now. Being inactive on TASVideos doesn't mean nobody is TASing anymore.

thx for responding. I agree with the general consensus for the GIM any% route then. But any% for the original game on N64 is still interesting to me at least.

So you just need an interrupt like a Navi speech to glitch through there?

Is OoT TASing dead? Someone hasn't posted in about 10 minutes. I know this topic is 10 years old, but this is serious. @Mitijitsu seems like it. I can't think of how you would regain control after clipping though.
effort on the first draft means less effort on any draft thereafter - some loser

Just to make sure.. is OoT TASing dead? There hasn't been much activity since 3 hours ago.. I fear this might be the end.

Ignoring my own posts and peoples responses to them, then the last post in this thread when I asked was the 13th of July, which is nearly 3 months ago. But if u think my concerns are unwarranted that's fine (edited for accuracy)
