I went and did it up to the shield, and I'm using frame advance throughout the entire thing, but I fall a second short of Guano purely because I sidehop slower, which must have cost me at least 2 seconds http://rapidshare.de/files/29643673/THE_LEGEND_OF_ZELDA__USA_.m64.html I gonna experiment up till I enter the tree. I tested it and I'm pretty confident you cannot sidehop into the shop since I tested about 30 different angles not to mention decimal points. I couldn't get the sword spin to activate so I had to settle with a normal slash.

Just toying around with it and showing off strategies, I'm gonna quit after entering the tree. I'm not really used to going back 5-10 seconds (possibly more) every time a mistake is made and I'm also using about 10 savestates which isn't actually enough.

Decent, the sidehopping was noticeably slow, you could hear a shuffling footstep every time. A few frames earlier perhaps?

What, even after I posted instructions on exactly how to do a sword spin? Advance 3 frames in each of 3 directions (9 frames total), and another 3 frames holding B + the 4th direction.

Great Guano! Looking forward to comparing the test run with this run to see how many frames you can shave off. It's a pity that the pause glitch still exists. Also, off topic, but any news on the camera hack? Was development in progress, or was it just brainstorming.

BTW Guano skipping slingshot is pointless since you need it to perform the hover to the bomb bag in DC. I thought I might as well say that, it only saves 30 seconds if it was skipped anyway. What did you get for the ruppee run minus the white screen?

well, as of right now I have 9 rupee's and had to manipulate a rupee from the bush right after the sword. The odds of it were 1 out of 20. :( But Im will compare once I talk to the Deku Tree.

Are you using sword spins? I beleve its possible to hit four bushes with one in the training area. BTW you can hit two plants and once with a non lock on thrust after you speak to Mido.

Who says he needs the bomb bag? All he needs is the bomb bag upgrade to get free bombs. Btw, the bottle adventure is pretty easy to do, It all starts from Fishing Pond and then bottle glitch then set a certain item on c-right (depending on what you want) , then go back in time then go foward time again then you get a free item on B.
