one thing that i have never seen ever made in this site is the fact that they have no fighting games in there xcept one but that is just a combo i mean like beating the game in hardest mode as fast as possible... it may be hard at sum point but i still believe that it can be achieved

Super Turbo was never released for the SNES. World Warrior, Turbo, and Super all were. Anyway...such a movie is guaranteed to be at least somewhat repetitive. The bigger problem, though, is this: Most fighting games have already been blown open by the tournament communities in the US and Japan. The combos and glitches are all known, essentially. Not saying that there can't be more discovered, but I doubt there'd be so much that a movie would be worth making. What could work, though, is if one were to take on a lesser-known game. Either a good one (i.e. many of the SNK fighters available in Final Burn) or an awful one (i.e. Shaq Fu, Rise of the Robots) would make a fine candidate...I say the awful ones because there's got to be some stupid bugs in them. -Josh

I've never heard of a Super Turbo, but I made a regular Turbo one some months ago. I used Ken, so it's kinda boring if you already know his moves.. but I think Ken has potential to get the fastest time. Not all fights are for speed, so it's not really a time attack. Just something for fun to watch. geocities.com/spenev/Street_Fighter_2_Turbo.zip (I don't remember what rom version it was)

Actually I think there is a release called Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo. I am not 100% sure. It could also be wrongly printed. But I remember seeing the name in a Super Power magazine when I was a kid. Super power being the biggest magazine in Sweden at that point, touching Nes and SNES if I recall correctly. More fighting games will popup I think when Snes9x get's fixed from those horible desyncing problems, as with Mortal kombat 2 etc.

The only related ROM included in GoodSNES is Super Street Fighter II Turbo Slide-Show (PD) . I have no idea what that is, but it is surely not an official game, and that's the romset we use, so I guess no dice.

you beat me to it, I was just about to post that. SSFII on the snes is quite slow, I don't think it would make a good time attack.

What are the differences between it and normal Turbo? Do you get some new charaters like Hawk and Cammy, or something?

Is Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo even a real SNES game? I can't find it on GameFAQs (though there are games with that name for other systems). Anyway, here's a list of SSF2 roms, and in case anyone's wondering, PD stands for public domain: Super Street Fighter II - Fight Again (Hack) 2.7 Mo Super Street Fighter II - The New Challengers (E) [!] 2.71 Mo Super Street Fighter II - The New Challengers (E) [f1] 2.71 Mo Super Street Fighter II - The New Challengers (E) [T+Ita0.93_blitz] 2.7 Mo Super Street Fighter II - The New Challengers (E) [T+Spa095_Juanjo] 2.71 Mo Super Street Fighter II - The New Challengers (E) [T+Spa100_Chilensis] 2.71 Mo Super Street Fighter II - The New Challengers (J) 2.7 Mo Super Street Fighter II - The New Challengers (J) [h1C] 2.7 Mo Super Street Fighter II - The New Challengers (J) [h1] 2.7 Mo Super Street Fighter II - The New Challengers (U) 2.7 Mo Super Street Fighter II - The New Challengers (U) [f1] 2.7 Mo Super Street Fighter II - The New Challengers (U) [f1][h1C] 2.7 Mo Super Street Fighter II - The New Challengers (U) [f1][h2C] 2.7 Mo Super Street Fighter II - The New Challengers (U) [T+Fre] 2.7 Mo Super Street Fighter II Turbo Slide-Show (PD) 338 Ko

Hawk, Cammy, Dee Jay etc. are added in Super Street Fighter II. Super Street Fighter II Turbo is the same except it is faster and a little more difficult. Pretty much just Capcom milking the series.

No, Super Turbo is NOT AN SNES GAME. It has been ported to 3DO, PSX, Saturn, Dreamcast, and GBA, but not SNES or Genesis. This was a huge mistake IMHO, as it's a vastly superior game to Super. alexpenev: In Super they added four new characters: Cammy, Fei-Long, T.Hawk, and Dee Jay (the only SF character ever to be designed by Capcom USA, btw). Also, of course, they changed everyone a little bit in various ways. The game was not and has never been well-liked by the tournament community because it's much slower than Turbo and the character balance is far worse. In Super Turbo, they gave each character a super move and the ability to reduce the damage from throws. Many new special moves, juggle combos, and other attacks were added, as well. It's not as fast as Turbo but quite a bit faster than Super. Although it was also unpopular at the time of its release, it has since become a favorite among old-schoolers and is still featured in almost every major fighting-game tournament in the US and Japan. Hope that clears things up a bit. =) -Josh

Well, there's a simple way to determine if it's the actual game in question or not--beat it on hard, without losing a single match. When you get to M. Bison, Akuma should come out and kill him, and you'll fight him, instead.

i al well aware of thae fact that they hold the tournaments on that game i sum times participate in them tourneys, but i simply cant find the rom so i made suggestion. on my other computer i have Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo on final burn alpha (latest version). there it is possible that we can make the movie off of that. also in the emu there are also other games that are wonderful like for instance "Battle Circut" thats a good beat em up game, as well as armored warriors also a beat em up game but with robots. (kinda kool) but since we cant do the fighting game i requested then... so be it.......how about the game captian commando..

Has anyone tried to do this with the 10 star turbo code? I think it'd be a little bit more interesting than the SSF2 runs cause the fights last about 4-5 seconds in real time...

This is probably the best SF I've played since its really fast. I would certainly watch a run for this game.

I did it for fun once. But I used Ken, and there's not too much variety with him. Most of the fights were really similar (until I started getting bored around Balrog and tried to do different things). Ken is one of the fastest characters to beat the game with, but not necessarily the fastest. NB: on lv8 difficulty your hits do way less damage, so the fights take twice as long. www.geocities.com/spenev/Street_Fighter_2_Turbo.zip Required rom is NTSC v1.0, checksum A45CADD6.

SF2 Turbo is much faster thats right, but SSF2 has by far more variety since they added new moves for each fighter which allows you to do more different combos. Thats the only reason I picked this game in my movies.

The settings should be WIP 1-timing with every other box unticked. It's not a WIP, I'm not submitting it. I was just testing out the speed code since I had never heard of it before. Shakespeare: that's how the game actually runs when you do the trick to unlock max stars. SF2 is a very fast SF game.
