Yeah, apparently the one set of coins I thought you needed the wing cap for was closer than I thought. I timed Rikku's run, and grabbing the first four stars takes 2:09 counting screen transitions. Do it shellless.

The lj to the red coin star was pretty badass. Looks really good, not accounting small optimizations here and there.

That was completely awesome! The only probable optimization I noticed is the grabbing of the box coins. Instead of grabbing the box and then throwing it, you can just dive into it and bump your head against the wall, breaking the box and grabbing the coins at the same time. Other than that, it looks perfect. Keep up the good work!

That was just awesome. Everything looked very optimised, and as Hina98 says, that LJ was frickin amazing. Good job, both of you. :)

Thanks, guys. Do you want WIPs after every course, or save it all for one go at the end?

I prefer getting them in little doses, rather than one big movie.

I enjoy watching progress as it happens... So, for bob-omb battlefield, is it not possible to just get the chain chomp star (#6) and then when you go back into the painting, select that, so you don't have to do the boss battle and the slow race for that koopa to appear over by the cannon?

You HAVE to beat KtQ for the small koopa to appear.

I too prefer following the run as you make progress. On the other hand, though, it's also even more exciting to be able to watch a whole movie full things I haven't seen before when you finally finish it. Although it's arguable that not sharing WIP's could make you miss out on some small change that would be faster, or not be aware of a desync. ehh

Please, don't remind me... *sobs* I've had some bad experiences with both the Densetsu No Stafy run and the SMB quad run.

Although some of these goals might be obscure, I found the wip to be very entertaining. Cool Cool Mountain was was awesome! :D

Cool Cool Mountain was really awesome. This run will without a doubt be very entertaining. I don't know what others will think about your camera choice on Princess's Secret Slide, but I am so bored with that slide that anything done differently works for me.

I was very entertained! :) Maybe I missed something but why do you get so many stars in whomp's fortress? You only need 15 stars for MIPS to appear, and you could use MIPS once you've done all the basement levels... So I'll ask, Why?

Thanks for the feedback so far; we appreciate it.

Because, in a moment of almost unrivaled stupidity, I forgot about using MIPS. My plan was: Aquarium - 1 star in total JRB w/ 3 stars = 4 stars in total WF w/ 3 stars + 2 stars = 9 stars in total PSS w/ 1 star = 10 stars in total TotWC w/ 1 star = 11 stars in total CCM w/ 2 stars = 13 stars in total BoB w/ 4 stars = 17 stars in total B1 w/ 1 star = 18 stars in total VCUtM w/ 1 star = 19 stars in total BBH w/ 3 stars = 22 stars in total LLL w/ 2 stars = 24 stars in total SSL w/ 2 stars = 26 stars in total HMC w/ 2 stars = 28 stars in total CotMC w/ 1 star = 29 stars in total Toad w/ 1 star = 30 stars in total And with the 30, we'd go through the 30 star door normally.

I thought it was cool, but so many people will hate PSS :P Nice work, and yeah you should use MIPS so you should go back and fix that. I think you should wait for more feedback on PSS because it could get nasty...

Ok... well, the plan should be to get every coin in the game as fast as possible, right? So, I would guess that you'd have more like ~25 stars in total, or something like that...
