That and doesn't the chuckya glitch only pull objects from the currently loaded level?

Heh, maybe we could bring MIPS into DDD, then swim with him into the area with the sub and swim around until he changes into the second-floor Bowser key but when Mario collects the key the memory address transfers Mario right over to the credits.

Actually, does the underwater shell in DDD change into anything in the tunnel between [whirlpool area] and [submarine area] or does it disappear too soon?

That would be the key to a 0-star run.

Also did anyone check the black room of death behind the basement key door for a BLJ spot? The stairs should be able to get you in there and maybe there is an invisible wall there to get lucky.
I tried it out a while back. There isn't. Annoyingly, you can BLJ in the upper floor BRoD but not the basement one. A shame, it'd be really useful :(

I figure if people keep BLJing in every area of the basement someone will eventually be able to get to Bowser. I'd love to see a 0 star completion. What are the 8 locations you guys are talking about?

To hell with that. Just BLJ through to the very end. Once inside the castle, BLJ past the locked door, past the star door, up the stairs and to the final bowser. Than just BLJ all the way to where you fight him. BAM! Game completed in like two minutes. Then will people stop believing it can be done faster. Oh, wait, no they won't. That never happens.

I believe that only part of the castle is loaded at a time.

Not only does it disappear too soon, but it seems to be coded to vanish when it hits the loading point anyway.

Perhaps Nintendo knew about the possible glitch in DDD, but didnt find it in WDW?

No. Why would Nintendo fix a glitch in one place and not another? You really think the creators of the game couldn't 'find' the glitch in WDW? I didn't think so. A more logical assumption would be that the thought of taking that enemy all the way into the loading area in WDW can be considered pretty much impossible. There was nothing that could possibly be in there at loading time, so why bother?

I coulda sworn you posted here before Myles... maybe you are just on that Gamefaqs board. I think you'll find that many readers of this thread already know who you are :-)

Here's a TAS I made of Cool Cool Mountain Red Coins. It beats Mr_Robert_Z's 70 star run by quite some frames. (Unless I can't count) http://youtube.com/watch?v=zJdBTwUCuB8

I guess you can't. Unless by "quite some frames" you mean "minus 1.1 seconds". I downloaded both of our vids, and timed it according to Star Times Competition timing. Mine is 1.168 seconds faster (unless I can't count). Nice try.

Here's another TAS I made of BitFS. It's not even faster then Rikku's. But it has some faster parts in it I think. http://youtube.com/watch?v=ma9UQ9RIZrI

It definitely looked fast... what are the frame counts vs. Rikku?

I'm sorry to cause trouble, but could someone explain what the "Chucka Glitch" is? I'm unfamiliar with it. Edit: Thank you, AQwertyZ!
