At the risk of being repetitive, I have to say that I love all the videos of sonicpacker. A question do you think you can open the moat door with a p-blj? Maybe if you go fast enough, you can trick the game. Yes I know, I don't mean to go beyond without opening it, that doesn't work.

We tried, but it ended up being the same time, mario64masters said "I tested that if i used the angle required to do that i would also gain a frame getting the last coin. So you gain a frame and lose a frame and they cancel each other out." So it wouldnt make a difference. ;)

@Nahoc I really liked the Into the Deep Freeze star. The others were great but; look like they could be improved?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mlyo8rjeSo&feature=related So how did this happen? The high height that is. I would imagine this saving time in say Bitfs, maybe? I'm probably wrong. but say you could go straight up the the entrance to Bowser.... It looks like the glitch works due to there being an invisible wall. I would think if you went to the boundary of any level and found a blj spot, you could gain insane height (which might be useful in a few areas)... like bitfs. I'm probably really wrong. XD http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=EoHNlgWHXRg 0:23 makes me think that maybe you could go through the ceiling to the endless stairs... that would be epic. I think people should experiment more with the height glitch I mentioned.

There seems to be another wall there, this would never work in BitFS :P

Isn't entering that initial door unnecessary? Could the "opening door" animation be skipped by bljing on the stairs? (or is that too far out of the way)? I mean, I'd imagine you could blj on the stairs leading up to to the top floor and go straight through the door (skipping the door opening animation) and go straight to the level at super speed.

I thought the video was just a comparison between BLJ, Normal movement and side-BLJ; not necessarily showing that route to use to get into the level, but showing that side-BLJ is the fastest in comparison.

Yes, like I said before, I know nothing about BLJing; sonicpacker pointed out some few points like backward movement on the first BLJ, angles, etc. I could also re-do this video, starting from the center circle after you get a star and compare the tiny island entry vs. the huge island entry.

I was watching random Youtube videos, I found these, and I have a question. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVAM79GqAm0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLeh51uwbq8 Do you think you can use this to glitch through the ceiling and arrive at the first floor faster?
