I guess there is a trick compilation page somewhere but I can't find an updated one.
Here is a good tricks page, though some of the tricks might not be for real-time speedruns.

I've seen this already but I already know how to do it, or it is impossible for me. I feel like the 2 I asked might be doable in real-time but they are not in this page, that's why I say it is outdated or incomplete.

Hi there, Siglemic covers nearly every real-time run trick on his channel info: http://twitch.tv/siglemic and the route guide with videos is here, it is slightly outdated though, he does not show inside the pyramide 'pillarless' in it and maybe some minor things I have not heard of: https://docs.google.com/document/d/11I4jbKHW7hm9q6rRPxfzTipCW-14nw3Pbgf1M9u0AVw/edit?hl=en_US&pli=1 Also check out http://sm64.org/forum/viewforum.php?id=3 for questions. And finally, I don't have a clue whether there is a good SM64 thread on SDA. The "idiot trick" you maybe meant consists of a first frame wall-kick (see above) [[and maybe a very hard to pull off jump dive, not sure at all]]. -> Forget about it. ;-) If you mean sth else: the idiot trick 'only' saves up to 5 sec, so the best alternative is to unlock the wing cap before doing this star. I know all this from Sig's commentary. I guess that covers the most important part so I hope that helps. ;-) Other topic: Btw, I would like to know how the random number generator works (exactly) and what else causes problems for co-op TASes. Greatings, Patrick.

amazing job :) I’m kind of getting fed up with freeruns, and when I saw it I thought “eh, another freerun”, but it’s actually really good

Yeah, i liked it a lot as well. Definitely way better than most free runs that conist of nothing more than crawling around for 5 minutes.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ARp2p3t-Mc was it known that you could take it from that side? I’m guessing it’d be slower anyway, but has anyone tried?

yes, iirc it was actually originally discovered from that side.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVIMUAV6B3U&list=UUBFI6yIseOi8M98nG8RVWTA&index=1&feature=plcp I see potential on the 2nd vid. I believe that the japaneses can find a way to high jump directly to the cage. Anyways, do you guys have any thoughts?

Eru shows off a new glitch: Superslide! At least I think it's new.

God, I hate when people assume that the first time they have seen something, they think it's new, it bugs the hell out of me. It was found by ChristianF23, who has found alot of cool things and has barely gotten any recognition.

Why would they know any better? The people here aren't a part of the SM64 community. And even if some are, it doesn't mean that they were around back then when this trick was discovered (it has been almost a year). You should think about what you write before you post it. I mean, this person even took the time to say that it might not be new. What else do you expect from them? Sorry for "backseat modding," I guess, but I wanted to point out this one thing to Sam.

You are missing the point of what I meant, it's annoying how Eru was getting the credit for 'discovering' the glitch, when it was found by Christian and everyone just assumes that he found it, and why would you bother saying that here if we spoke about it on Skype?

t3h Icy, link to a video, but don't claim X found the trick. Then Sammerz can't QQ.
