When nominating a TAS or a player, the TAS or player in question must be within the eligible list provided for the category in question.
When nominating a TAS, specify the TAS using the movie ID enclosed within [movie][/movie]. For example, if you wanted to nominate movie with ID 1234, you'd use: [movie]1234[/movie] which will turn into a link like so:
[1234] GBA Metroid Fusion "100%" by BioSpark in 1:35:49.53. If you do not nominate properly, your nomination will be ignored.
When nominating a person, specify the person using their forum name, and not some lesser known IRC handle or other nickname. Failure to do so, and your nomination will be ignored.
You can nominate multiple TASs or people for each category, however, only nominate if you feel the TAS or person really deserves the nomination.
When picking an eligible TAS to nominate, do so because you feel it was really good for its category, not because you just happen to like it generally, even though it didn't really excel in the category in question.
When picking an eligible person to nominate, do so because you feel the person did well in the category in question, not because you feel they did well in some unrelated category or because the person is your friend.
Before voting begins, you can retract a nomination if you've changed your mind.
If you think someone has made a nomination which is truly undeserving, please point it out so there can be a proper discussion. However, arguments which are a matter of opinion and personal taste are uncalled for.
If you find something which you believe is truly eligible for a category but is missing from an eligible list due to some kind of error, please inform a staff member.
Nomination for oneself (or one's own TAS) does not count. However, if another person agrees with their nomination, then that will count.
